Happy Monday! We’ve had a bit of a difficult few days recently, so I’m not sure what this week is going to bring for us. Daisy and I will have a few days together though, as well as a weekend with Thomas home, which will be lovely. We are waiting for some news from the council, potentially today, that may make or break our week. I don’t want to go into all the details yet but it’s been a tough few days for sure! This is a lower quality phone pic but just look at the happiness in Daisy’s face! It was her Birthday recently and due to chickenpox, we didn’t get to see everyone before she was contagious. Our friends came round and gave her this beautiful mermaid outfit, with a headband, that she has been absolutely loving.
Happy Monday! The fact that this post exists means that we survived our first full week of chickenpox. It has been LONG and honestly, I’m amazed I found time to even schedule this post. Daisy showed signs of chicken pox on Saturday, 9 days ago, and now it is full swing. This weeks living arrows 13/52 post is now live!
As you can see Daisy has quite a few spots, but definitely less severe than some of the cases I have seen shared by friends. I’m so thankful for that.
Happy Monday! What a wonderful week we had last week. On Thursday Daisy turned three and we had a fantastic weekend too. Daisy has LOTS of new toys and is really looking forward to waking up each morning at the moment, just to play toys. In fact, she hasn’t even been asking for her tablet! For days! We’ve had a good rotation of her toys and she’s really enjoying having lots of lovely new toys to play with. This weeks living arrows 12/52 post is now live!
Daisy’s lovely Auntie made her a Birthday cake! As Daisy has FPIES it was wheat, gluten, dairy, soya and coconut free – which is quite the achievement! I’m really proud of Jamie, and it was amazing to see Daisy enjoying a cake. Best of all, there was LOTS of cake left, so that’ll be going in the freezer for a twice-weekly treat for Daisy for many weeks to come.
Happy Monday! This week is going to be a bit of a busy one for us as Daisy is going to be turning 3! Wow! Where does the time go? Also, just for everyone asking, my Mum is doing REALLY well thank you. She had a bad lung infection, that was causing strain on her heart and that’s being sorted now. She’s already feeling miles better – so thanks for all the kind messages here and elsewhere. This weeks living arrows 11/52 post is now live!
On the weekend we went over to Grandma’s house. My brother was visiting and he cooked dinner for us all, which was very nice. We had a pizza evening and a few hours of chatting and watching television before we came home. It was great and the perfect way to end a relaxing weekend day!
Happy Monday! I hope the week ahead is going to be a productive one for us all. I know personally, I’ve got 4 or 5 pieces of work to get prepared so this is going to be one of my busiest weeks in a long time. My Mum will be in hospital later today, having a T.O.E. This is basically a camera down your throat, so they can look at the back of your heart. I’ll share more about this on my Instagram I’m sure if you want to find out more. Now I have to be honest and say that this photo is from a few weeks ago! On Tuesday last week I accompanied my Mum to the hospital and my week has been really busy since!
This photo shows Daisy and her uncle Anthoni playing in the local park. Anthoni has been staying at my Mum’s house lately, to help look after her and make his commute to work a little easier too. I’m really pleased that Mum has more company and someone staying with her overnight a few days a week. This has relieved some of the worries I have when she’s not well.
