Hello! Happy Friday! Happy Valentine’s Day… What a week we have had! We have had a leak in our home, last weekend during the storm, thankfully not huge but a bit of a pain anyway! Still, we’ve made it through the week, got lots of house jobs ticked off the list and I’m feeling great. I’ve been on my new high dose Vitamin D for almost 2 weeks and I can really feel the difference already!
Having as little food waste as possible is really important to me. We try our best to make things stretch. We still have so many house jobs to pay for. I am taking steps to make sure we are avoiding overspending on groceries. This week I’m keeping the budget low again, and using lots of Simply Cook recipes this week. *Why not sign up and grab yourself a box for £1?< This is a subscription service so be sure to cancel if you don’t want it to auto-renew. I will also be visiting Lidl to try and keep my grocery spends low. Daisy has a party on Sunday so I’ll be popping in for the final hour while Tom sits with her at the party! Looking forward to having a browse on my own, as I’ve always had Daisy with me lately!
Good morning! I hope you’re feeling rested after the weekend. I am! This weekend Thomas was on day shifts both days so Daisy and I spent the weekend together. I worry sometimes about entertaining her for full days by myself, which is just anxiety really. On Friday I made a list on my phone with lots of ideas of things to do at home, and ways to have fun that was outside of our normal toy playing etc. This was really fun and I let Daisy pick things and she had great fun. The weekend flew by!
Hello! Happy Friday! I’ve had a fantastic week both professionally and around my home. It has been fantastic to get some more jobs ticked off the list and I have really been enjoying working hard too. My new office is very motivational, and that is definitely helping me to work smarter not harder. Anyway, this weeks meal plan is ready. I love planning dinners each week and sharing them with you.

Valentine’s Day is rolling around and now we live in our home, without a noisy neighbour banging underneath us all the time, life is feeling really good. Because of this, I want to make Valentine’s Day a whole special day. We’re going to have an at-home date night, give each other a few small gifts and just make a special effort.
Some people say to me that you don’t need a special day to declare your love, which I agree with, but I do think my own marriage needs more date nights and effort, so it is the perfect excuse for us! This year I’ve decided that Valentine’s Day is going to be about more than just treating Thomas, my lovely husband, much like last year, and I will also be about treating myself! I work hard and I deserve to look and feel nice on the day.
Good morning! Happy Monday! Another week rolls around and we are already into February! I’ve set my February aims and I’m looking forward to a nice productive month. Daisy will be turning 4 next month and we’re hoping to have a little themed tea party at home. Since Daisy passed her FPIES dairy trial it has opened up so many foods to us and we are really excited for her to have lots of different party foods.
