Hello! Another month has passed and we are already 1/3 of the way through the year. Unreal! This month has been a real mixed bag. I knew I wouldn’t achieve everything, but I’m all about being honest here! Here are my aims for April 2020 – the results!

Home aims for April 2020 – the results

Meal plan all month. Achieved. It went really well! I did a LOT of cooking from scratch this month.

Try 2 new recipes. Achieved. One of my highlights were these oven baked hash browns. They’re tasty, crispy and delicious.

Use my *breadmaker at least 4 times. Achieved. This month I have baked a lot of loaves of bread, made chocolate chip brioche rolls, pizza dough in the breadmaker and made homemade garlic bread. I also made the dough for this soft white rolls recipe.

Use my *pressure cooker for 3 hot lunches, soups etc. Achieved. I’ve cooked up chicken for lunch, made soup and enjoyed simple pasta dishes too. I have also got lots of fantastic cookbooks recently too, as The Book People had a closing down sale and I wanted to treat myself!

Complete TeamTomm each day in April. Achieved. My home is feeling (mostly) clean, tidy and organised. I had 2 days where I had to catch up, as we had a fencer working here, but it’s gone well and kept me on track mentally.

Financial aims for April 2020 – the results

Make money matched betting. Failed. I wanted to make £200+. I did earn money, but slightly less than £200. This is the first time in a LONG time that I haven’t hit a matched betting goal, but I like to keep things honest around here! Sports are just cancelled all over but I hope that it’ll pick up soon!

Add £150 of Amazon vouchers to my account. Achieved. I used lots of my vouchers to treat people for random acts of kindness. I’m in a fairly new group on Facebook where everyone shares their Amazon wish list and then other people buy them surprise gifts. It’s so nice! I’m loving it and have added a small budget to my monthly budget for spending on strangers. I mostly lurk in the group and don’t post much, but I enjoy seeing how happy everyone is when they receive a gift!

Spend £150 or less on groceries. Failed. We had 2 weeks without Hello Fresh so it was nearer to £300! Speaking of Hello Fresh – *get £20 off your first order!

Add £30 to my round-up pot. Achieved. I put away almost £100 by rounding my bank account to the nearest £5 every couple of days.

Online aims for April 2020 – the results

Update 10 old posts. Achieved. I’ve updated lots of my old favourite recipes including slow cooker roast beef and slow cooker pulled pork. Also, I gave my 40 great ideas for your Yumbox an update too!

Write up 3 new posts. Achieved. I shared a couple of recipes, my Likes & Loves for April 2020 and my easy roast dinner recipes.

Complete 2 random acts of kindness. Achieved. As mentioned above I’ve been loving buying people little gifts from their Amazon wishlist.

Personal aims for April 2020 – the results

Walk 7k steps every single day. Achieved. I hit an average of around 8,000. As I had a couple of high pain days near the end of the month I feel this went really well!

Read 2 books. Failed. I read one book in full, so 1/2 isn’t bad I guess!

There you have it, my April 2020 aims results! I think overall I did well considering what I have going on at the moment. Like everyone really. I hope you’re staying safe and doing well.
