Well hello, happy April! Goodbye to March, without a doubt the roughest month of the year so far! I am not feeling very confident that April will be any better but it doesn’t hurt to be optimistic does it?! I was debating whether I should share my aims but I have decided to be kind to myself, set smaller aims and just do what I can! Here are my aims for April 2020!

Aims for April 2020

Home aims for April 2020

Meal plan all month. I’m fortunate to be able to afford Hello Fresh boxes this month, and this will cover quite a few meals each week. I’m going to plan out the days we’re eating, to avoid any food waste, and the other meals I’ll be using up items from the pantry and freezer. I hope to do this for the whole month.

Try 2 new recipes. They’ll probably just be from my *Simply Cook box for convenience but I’m loving having lots of new recipes on hand to try whenever I fancy.

Use my *breadmaker at least 4 times. I aimed for twice last month but this month I want to bake more soft white rolls, bread and baguettes for us to enjoy as we have lovely soups!

Use my *pressure cooker for 3 hot lunches, soups etc. I’m branching out more and want to use the great *pressure cooker cookbooks that my friend got me as a moving in present more.

Complete TeamTomm each day in April. I love this cleaning system, and it helps my home stay organised and clean with what feels like very minimal effort.

Financial aims for April 2020

Make money matched betting. £200+ ideally. There ARE fewer offers that interest me at the moment so I’m hoping setting this achievable goal will keep me on track and in a good routine for when sports are back on track.

Add £150 of Amazon vouchers to my account. I failed last month on this front but ultimately ANY vouchers are great, as I’m saving up for a few house/garden purchases later in the year.

Spend £150 or less on groceries. We DO have Hello Fresh on top of this, so I think this is a realistic budget for a few dinners a week and breakfast/lunch when at home every day.

Add £30 to my round-up pot. I’ve adjusted this down, on the basis that I will have fewer transactions in my bank account, and I also have less income at the moment too. I hope this is still achievable!

Online aims for April 2020

Update 10 old posts. I aimed for 20 last month and this was unachievable. 10 posts updated, around Daisy and my busy home life, will be great and keep me focused on making small regular ‘bites’ in my HUGE list!

Write up 3 new posts. I have some recipes where the images are already ready for editing and the posts just need a little work, so I’ll hope to complete these in April.

Complete 2 random acts of kindness. I won’t share the details, but I have a couple of small ideas. My budget is a little low for this during April but I hope to uplift some people’s spirits during what I expect will be quite a bleak month.

Personal aims for April 2020

Walk 7k steps every single day. In/around my home of course! Last months average was around 6.5k I think so I want to boost this a little!

Read 2 books. I’ve been rubbish this year and want to make more effort!

There you have it, my aims for April 2020! I hope this month is kind to us all!

I always enjoy reading your aims for each month. I always find some inspiration. I have so many recipes on Pinterest and haven’t really tried any of them, so you did inspire me to make a couple of new recipes. Thanks so much.
