Hello! September is almost here. If you’re a parent of school-age children you have made it through and you’ve almost there. It is nearly time for children to go back to school, which is great as we have one year left with Daisy before she starts school. I’m looking forward to enjoying days out where there aren’t too many children present and just enjoying one last year of quieter locations. August has been a wonderfully productive month for me, which I’m so pleased about. It was REALLY needed as I’ve been slack with writing new content for most of the year. Now I have lots of posts scheduled over the coming weeks and months that I hope will bring great value to you. Here it is my aims for August 2019 – the results!

Keep up with the Organised Mum method every single weekday. Achieved. Home has felt clean, calm and relaxed. It has really boosted my motivation and what I achieve.

Financial aims for August 2019 – the results

Add £1,000 to the moving fund. Achieved. Tom also saved a nice chunk of money too which is great!

Spend less than £250 on groceries. Achieved. Only just! I had some good vouchers from Sainsburys and we went to Aldi.

Add £100 to my Amazon account, and keep it for moving items! Achieved. My Top 5 survey websites helped a little with this.

Make another Kiva donation. Achieved. I had to top up my account about 50% but I had a payout from Clixsense (who have changed their name to something else now).

Online aims for August 2019 – the results

Write new content for Katykicker that isn’t Living Arrows, my weekly meal plan or my monthly aims and goals! Achieved. I’ve been SO on it this month. I have written lots of content for here, and a few posts for my new website, Allergy Free Day too.

Keep up with the matched bettingAchieved. I’m not doing a large number of offers at the moment, so not making masses, but it all adds up!

Boost internal links on Katykicker by 1,000. Achieved. I’m hoping more internal links will improve the experience my readers have, and result in more page views and traffic.

Personal aims for August 2019 – the results

Stay sane while waiting to move! Achieved. This month has been great. I’m so pleased. Home is happy, tidy and organised, and I can’t wait to get out now!

Read 3 books. Achieved. Thanks to my Kindle Unlimited subscription I’ve read a LOT of books. Some were very short and sweet, and others were cookbooks, but I’m really happy. I’ve made lots of new recipes and this has helped with our grocery shop too.

Well done! I have just recently discovered The Organised Mum Method and it does help. I’m not on top of it but I have made SOME progress; the porch is much tidier, also hall and stairs – AND I have cleared away 2 toy boxes into one (trying not to think that actually the 3 bags are in the boot of my car and haven’t made it to the charity shop. I’ll do that tomorrow. See, I’ve made a plan too!
Congrats on the house too and good luck with everything for that.
