Wow – 1/6 of the way through the year. It goes so fast doesn’t it. I’ll be honest and say that Winter has been bloody dragging. March sees our daughter celebrating her first Birthday. I can’t believe that we will have a one year old. We’ve got another great holiday to look forward to so I can’t wait for that. Anyway, here we go. I’m sharing with you my aims for February 2017 – the results!

Home aims for February 2017 – the results!
Batch cook. Achieved. I made extra when I cooked a few times in February. For example when I made a cottage pie I made one for us, a small dairy free one for Daisy and a small one for the freezer. I did this a few times.
Meal plan. Achieved. I am really back in the swing of meal planning now. I feel motivated and I’m really enjoying it. Variety is the spice of life so I have been sure to try lots of different meals. One favourite in February was salt and pepper chicken.
Use my slow cooker 10 times. Achieved. I love the convenience of my slow cooker and used it at least 11 or 12 times. Also, I used it overnight to cook up some delicious baby food for my daughter too. This was an idea that I got over on Instagram and it worked really well!
Try 3 new recipes. Achieved. Salt & pepper chicken, a new chicken fajita mix (slow cooker) and a brownie recipe. It was a slow month for trying new recipes but we ate well and that is the main thing.
Finish spring cleaning. Achieved. I only achieved this right near the end of the month. I’ve been a bit lazy between going on holiday and having a rotten cold. However, our home is looking much tidier now and I’m feeling good now spring is on the way!
Donate or sell 20 items. Achieved. This was a great one. I had a clear out of lots of Daisy’s clothes. Sales included swimwear, face products and baby items that were never used. I dropped a few items off to the food bank too.
Financial aims for February 2017 – the results!
Keep up savings challenges. Achieved. So far so good! I’m mostly focusing on the £1 per week one. £1 week 1, £2 week 2 etc. I think I’m at around £35 or £40 now so that isn’t bad going!
Make £500+ matched betting. Achieved. This was great for the month. I had a BIG WIN at the start of the month that took me over my target right away. Despite this I kept up the momentum and I’m really pleased with how many offers I completed.
Earn £500+ from surveys. Achieved. This was a bit of a push. Again, between a week off and a cold I just didn’t have a huge amount of motivation. However, I have added up the earnings and I have exceeded my £500 target. Yay!
Add £250 to my Amazon account. Achieved. I managed this with one piece of work. Woohoo! I’m planning on saving up for my husband’s 30th Birthday!
Online aims for February 2017 – the results!
Enter 300 competitions. Achieved. I did zero competitions for the first 20 days of the month. Then I found some motivation and did 30+ every day for the last part of the month. No wins yet but I’ll not let that deter me!
Blog 20 times in February. Achieved. This was easy for me. I have lots of paid work and lots of things that I wanted to talk about. Also, now I’m taking part in a few linkies it was really fun too!
Work on growing Twitter / Instagram. Sort of achieved. While I don’t think I quite hit the goals that I wanted (Twitter anyway) I did engage more. This is part of what I wanted to achieve and I’ve grown quite a bit organically so I’m really happy.
Personal Aims for February 2017 – the results
Exercise 15 times at least. Achieved. This was achieved thanks to going on holiday and the earlier part of the month. The latter part of the month was a disaster as I was unwell and completely lazy. I’m hoping to get back into it in March but at least I hit my goal and I didn’t gain any weight.
Take a week off for our holiday! Achieved. This was great! I took my Macbook to PC World for a repair and just enjoyed a whole week with my family. It was great to spend time relaxing, reading, soaking in the tub and relaxing in the sauna at Centerparcs. I’m looking forward to having another week off next month!
Overall I’m really happy with how the month has gone. While one of my aims wasn’t quite achieved in the way that I beat my target I feel I did really well overall. I’m looking forward to March. Writing these posts keeps me motivated and holds me accountable really. It is great to have these to look back on. My life is much more organised and structured since I started writing monthly aims.
