February already! I’m a cliche I know. Every single month I cannot believe another month has gone by. Which is funny as often I write these posts a few weeks in advance!! Anyway, here we are, in February already. Just one more month until my beautiful girls 1st Birthday! Also, in 5 days we will be enjoying a wonderful family holiday at Centerparcs Elveden Forest! Woohoo! Here are my aims for February 2017:

Aims for February 2017

Home Aims for February 2017

Batch cook. I want to put a few meals in the freezer for the coming weeks. I’m going to batch cook a nice slow cooker chilli and perhaps cook a slow cooker roast chicken to use within meals.

Meal plan. In January I meal planned for the entire month. I want to do the same in February! This is a great way to keep the household shopping budget in check. Also, meal planning helps us avoid the lure of the takeaway which is another great money saver!

Use my slow cooker 10 times. I love my slow cooker. It is super convenient. What could be better than finishing working and having dinner ready and waiting – no effort required!

Try 3 new recipes. I’m always looking for new recipes. I don’t know what I want to try yet but perhaps a slow cooker chicken curry and bacon mac and cheese pasta bake. I’ve not used my *pasta maker much lately so I want to change that this month!

Finish spring cleaning. There are only a couple of small jobs left now so that is nice.

Donate or sell 20 items. I love having a clear out. I have some clothes that I don’t wear anymore and Daisy is always outgrowing things. It is nice to help out a local hospice charity and have a de-clutter in the process.

Financial Aims for February 2017

Keep up savings challenges. I am working on a couple of challenges. All I want to do is keep my focus and hit those aims!

Make money matched betting. This is a regular goal of mine and I imagine it will be fine!

earn money from surveys. I’m working on buying us a car from survey earnings this year. I want to have a big month and start as I mean to go on.

Add £250 to my Amazon account. I’m always using Amazon to buy items for our home, our pets and us. I want to give it a little top up this month!

Online Aims for February 2017

Enter 300 competitions. I haven’t been entering competitions so much in the past year. Since having Daisy, and being back to work on my blog full-time, I have been busy. However, I am going to make a conscious effort to look for items that I actually would love to win! Cars, cash, holidays, items for Daisy etc.

Blog 20 times in February. This is going to be a bit of a stretch I think! We are away for a weeks holiday (yay) but I’m going to try my best!

Work on growing Twitter / Instagram. I want to grow 500 on Twitter this month (big goal I know!) and also grow Instagram by 200. I have found that engaging with people I am genuinely interested in, and posting interesting content, really helps. I’m often telling people about my day on Twitter and those are some of the most engaged with posts. I’m loving using social media at the moment!

Personal Aims for February 2017

Exercise 15 times at least. I’ve been exercising every single day, pretty much, for about 6 weeks now. I want to keep the momentum going. I want to complete at least 15 x 30 minutes of aerobic / cardio / fat burning exercise. This will help me keep my momentum even with a holiday to enjoy.

Take a week off for our holiday! We go away next week. This time we are off to Centerparcs in Elveden Forest (shock horror!). We will be meeting up with my sister and 4 of my nieces and nephews. I’m really looking forward to it because I love Centerparcs and I haven’t seen my sister in quite a few months in person! I can’t wait for her to see how much Daisy has grown and also see my nieces and nephews too.

Ah some brilliant goals here! With you on using my slow cooker! It had been hidden away in the cupboard at the last house but this time I’m keeping it out to remind me to use it. Sausage hotpot tonight ?

You’ve got some great goals there and by the sounds of them, they are all acheiveable!
We want to look into matched betting as we know it can be a real earner! Well done as well on meal planning! I always find that helps with food and spending too!

It really can – hit it hard for a few months and then make some regular ‘pin’ money from it 🙂 x

It is REALLY good! I make lots of cash from it and you can make big money, especially at the beginning!

These are brilliant aims – I used to be such a big planner but I used to find everything fell by the wayside a day or two after I’d made my goals, I suppose putting them online helps though!

It sure does – it makes me accountable. Mostly because I’m too forgetful to lie!

You have some great goals. I never thought of saving up vouchers from surveys for bigger things, I usually spend them as soon as I get them lol.

I used to do that but now I try and be controlled and make sure that they go on something really useful! Thanks for your comment.
