Hello! What a month it has been. We’ve been able to enjoy the garden lots, finally seen a few members of our family and even enjoyed a couple of BBQs by ourselves at home. I have barely had a minute to look at my aims, so to be honest it’ll be a bit of a surprise to see how I’ve done as I write this out!! Here are the results of my July 2020 aims – hope you enjoy.

Aims for July 2020 – the results
Home aims for July 2020 – the results
Meal plan all month. Achieved. Self explanatory really. We had Gousto meals a lot – If you want to try them out I’ve got a *30% off code for a MONTH for new customers!
Try 2 new recipes. Achieved. I’ve been loving cooking from scratch and returning to making lots of things homemade. It is a great way to eat a little healthier, and it is an enjoyable activity with Daisy too.
Use my *breadmaker at least 4 times. Achieved. I love my breadmaker since we moved!
Use my *pressure cooker for 3 cooked lunches, soups etc. Achieved. We have had some absolutely lovely lunches lately! I’ve also been freezing goodies for easy days in August when Daisy is home.
Complete TeamTomm each day in July. Achieved. Home has never felt cleaner or more organised. Each month we get more jobs done, DIY and organising, and it feels more and more homely as we go on!
Write up list of snagging style jobs in the house. Achieved. It is a BIG list, but it’s written up and we add to it as we go.
Spend at least 10 hours on DIY related jobs this month including paint touch ups, caulking, decorating a couple of areas and painting outside. Achieved. I’ve been feeling really strong, thanks to exercising more, and so I’ve had more energy and have achieved a lot more than I thought I would. I’m aiming higher next month!
Financial aims for July 2020 – the results
Achieve at least 2 hours matched betting each week. Achieved. I’m not going as hard as I used to, and had a new gubbing in July, but that’s the nature of the beast!
Add £100 of Amazon vouchers to my account. Achieved. LOTS of new house bits were purchased. You can see some of my favourites in *my Amazon store.
Spend £250 or less on groceries. Achieved. We JUST came in under budget, thanks to Gousto giving me 35% off for a month as a new customer. Has been well worth it and meals we’ve been using up some of what we have in too on the nights we don’t have their meals.
Add £100 to my round-up pot. Achieved. I have actually doubled this, which is great.
Put back the other £750 from the new MacBook I purchased in June. Failed. I actually only managed about £300. Not because of a lack of money as such, but because I spent £1000 on new items for our home, which were needed more than replacing the savings I had used. I’m going to aim to finish this in August though!
Online aims for July 2020 – the results
Update 10 old posts. Achieved. And then some!! Really found my flow lately with work/life balance and being motivated too.
Write up 3 new recipes. Achieved. Two are going to go out soon and there was also a soft white rolls recipe shared, a slow cooker chicken breast recipes post and I updated several posts including pizza dough in the breadmaker, my pasta sauce recipe, slow cooker beef keema curry, slow cooker beef chilli, ultimate onion gravy recipe and meal planning with mince post too. I’ve been motivated!
Complete 5 random acts of kindness. Achieved. I mostly went for surprising people on my Instagram this month. Then I placed a few orders from small businesses that follow me and shared the items I bought with friends. I kept one lovely item for my pinboard in my office too!
Grow Pinterest stats by 20% versus June. Failed. My Pinterest is tanking…. I don’t know why, as I’m creating LOTS of new content, but I’ll just keep swimming!
Personal aims for July 2020 – the results
Walk 8k steps every single day. Failed. But only just! I had a couple of very high pain days where I did a different style of exercise, which meant less steps. But I’m at 26 workouts this month, and I’ve been pushing much harder with my fitness so I’m really pleased still.
Read 2 books. Achieved. I’m about to finish a 3rd actually, a GoPro guide ebook that has been fantastic and is SO cheap!.
Exercise at least 3 times a week all month. Achieved. I’m loving it. I’ve been using The Body Project, Leslie Sansone and Joe Wicks on YouTube and I’m feeling much fitter and stronger already too!
There you have it! July has gone well for me. I’ve felt happy, motivated, focused and driven most of the month. I’ve made good choices in my life overall and it’s really benefiting me and my family. I’m going to aim for a relaxed August, as Daisy and I have a month off together, but I’m really looking forward to it!
