I was recently commissioned by Sunlife to talk about the following topic. Advert. Another month has rolled by, and I can’t believe it. Already we are 1/4 of the way through the year! Here it is my aims for March 2019 – the results!

Home aims for March 2019 – the results

Meal plan all month. Achieved. I love meal planning and this month I have been trying out lots of new recipes, and re-testing some recipes that I plan to share here very soon.

Use my slow cooker at least 10 times. Achieved. It is SO convenient to use my slow cooker, I love it.

Try 3 new recipes. Achieved. Slow cooker prawn fried rice, slow cooker hunters chicken and lots more!

Use my breadmaker 2 times. Failed. Oops. I actually forgot about this. I must try harder in April!

Donate or sell 20 items. Achieved. I cleared out my cleaning cupboard, donated some Zoflora to my Mum and I gave lots of clothes and unloved items to the charity shop.

Financial aims for March 2019 – the results

Make money matched bettingAchieved. 

Add £100 to my Amazon account. Achieved. Promptly spent it too! Several Amazon pantry orders were great this month and helped to keep the grocery shop low.

Make another loan on Kiva. Achieved. This month I made a loan to a woman from Kenya who runs a food stall. I hope it helps her and she can achieve her goals in life.

Online aims for March 2019 – the results

Write 5 posts for April in case we are busy with our new house. Failed. Whoops! Daisy got chicken post a week or so ago and I’ve just got REALLY behind.

Sell 3 items on eBay. Failed. I actually just didn’t find anything that we wanted to sell really, or that was worth selling. I think this means our home is almost completely decluttered now!

Personal aims for March 2019 – the results

Arrange to cross one item off our 2019 bucket list. Achieved. I’ve made arrangements for later in the year for us to visit the seaside.

Make time for me every day. Achieved. I have started exercising every day, for at least 30 minutes. Some days it has felt hard to fit this in but if this lady can change her life after 50 then I’m sure I can do the same at 30! I’m looking to feel stronger, fitter and less lazy. It has been a bit of a struggle some days, partly thanks to motivation and making excuses and partly thanks to having Daisy home poorly. However, I have been completing the exercise daily for more than 3 weeks now, and it seems to be becoming part of a habit for me. Each morning I try to get it out of the way, so I know it’s done, and I’ve been eating less junk food too.

This month has been more of a mixed bag for me than usual. Normally I am really focused, and mid-month I will check up to see how I am doing. This month I just couldn’t find the time, around Daisy being poorly and fitting everything else into my day. Still, April is going to be a great month – I can feel it!
