Happy October! I’m really excited as it’s only 6 weeks until we go on our next family holiday. The time has flown by since we booked it and I can’t wait to get in that hot tub! This month I’m going to try and work super hard, achieve lots, and allow myself to have a whole week off with my family in November. It can’t come soon enough! Anyway, here are my aims for October 2018 – enjoy!
Home aims for October 2018
Try 3 new slow cooker recipes. I fancy trying a new Indian dish, maybe Bombay potatoes!
Organise the Christmas present stash. I need to decide who is getting what and then arrange to gift, donate or sell what is left, which brings me to my next aim:
Sell or donate 20 items.
Meal plan all month.
De-clutter the two high kitchen cupboards. The ones where Thomas puts all his junk.
Financial aims for October 2018
Spend less than £300 on groceries. I’ve already done a Tesco shop yesterday so that came out of September’s budget!
Make time for matched betting. This has fallen by the wayside a little as I’ve been really busy, but I’m still managing a few hours most weeks.
Add £100 to my Amazon account and DON’T SPEND IT!
Add £1,000 to car savings fund.
Clear out Daisy’s piggy banks ready for our holiday in November. Rolling this over from last month.
Online aims for October 2018
Schedule posts for November.
Update 5 old posts.
Update 10 recipe posts.
Add 100 followers to Instagram.
Complete my Christmas gift guides.
Personal aims for October 2018
Book another item off our bucket list.
Read three books.
Complete 2 random acts of kindness.
Beat Tom one week on the Apple Watch competition we have running.
That’s it! This is what I hope to achieve in October 2018. I hope that this month is kind to you, and you have a great time in the run-up to Christmas!
