Hello! Happy September. This months marks a whole year since we moved house! You can see how we’ve been getting on over on my Instagram. Daisy starts school this month too – wow! Under 2 weeks to go! Here are my Aims for September 2020.

Home aims for September 2020
Meal plan all month. I’ll be using my mealtime inspiration post to remind me of some of our favourite dinners. Also, I’ve updated my meal planning tips recently if you need some inspiration!
Try 3 new recipes. I have been LOVING sharing new recipes here, but also I like to try new recipes not for this website, recipes from other content creators. I’ve got some VERY talented friends and I am going to try a few of their recipes out I think!
Try 2 new slow cooker recipes. I think the slow cooker is going to come in handy a LOT this month! I’m going to be cooking some of our favourites like slow cooker hunters chicken, slow cooker BBQ ribs and more. It’s great to have a nice meal ready at the end of a long day and I think we’re going to need those nice meals this month!
Use my *breadmaker at least 4 times. I have been loving it since we moved and it’s made a huge difference to the food we eat and has helped us save a little money on groceries too.
Complete TeamTomm each day in September. This helps us keep our home clean and tidy, and it’s become a real good habit now!
Spend at least 10 hours on DIY related jobs this month. We’ll soon be done with most of the jobs, which means we can move on to spending more time on homely touches.
Financial aims for September 2020
Achieve at least 2 hours matched betting each week. I’m not going to set a financial goal this month, because I have had less time for this lately.
Add £100 of Amazon vouchers to my account. I’ll be spending it on house items no doubt, and perhaps a few more games for Daisy. I’ll be using some websites to help with this such as InstaGC, Mingle surveys, LifePoints (MySurvey & GlobalTestMarket have merged), Pinecone Research and I’m sure a few of my other favourite ways to make and save money online.
Spend £300 or less on groceries. I’ve gone back to shopping at Lidl more lately because it is a great way to save some money. I’m going to use my HyperJar card too, as I’ve got some money in my Lidl balance.
Add £200 to my round-up pot. This is filling up my Christmas 2020 fund, among other things, and so I want to work a little harder on this, this month!
Online aims for September 2020
Update 15 old posts and re-share. This is GREAT for SEO and I’ve got some posts from 2015-6 that are now performing better on Google with just a few small changes and 30 minutes of my time!
Start on Christmas related work. I’ve already got two things upcoming and I want to get in touch with people I worked with last year.
Write up 3 new recipes. I have about 30 recipes in drafts that I want to test 1 or 2 more times, so this month I’m going to aim to just get 3 of those published.
Complete 5 random acts of kindness. I love this, it gives me real feel good vibes. I don’t really publicise things, but I often just look for charities to donate to, Amazon wish lists to purchase from or just little ways that I can do something nice for someone I love, or someone online I enjoy chatting to.
Personal aims for September 2020
Walk 8k steps every single day. With the school routine starting up soon this should be even easier for me now, so I may up it again next month!
Read 2 books. I am finding that scheduling in 15 minutes 3-4 times a week is a big help with achieving this goal!
Exercise at least 4 times a week all month. I’m really enjoying this!

This is an amazing list. So much on here that I can relate to. The slow cooker being one, we will be defo using that soon... As for matched betting, for me it is creeping back in to play again. I spent a couple of years doing it until all my accounts got gubbed or the offers dried up. However, I have found a ton more bookies I hadn't heard off, so I have been slowly going through those...
Best of luck with the month! Keep us updated.

I think if you have little breaks, and then get back to the matched betting, you can definitely get a nice injection of cash again! x
