Wow, the end of September already? Eek! How exciting / nerve wracking as I’ve got so much going on over the next few months. Being organised and motivated is going to get me through the busy few months coming up, and hopefully keep my website and personal life ticking over nicely. My Mum is going to be having some pretty major surgery soon and I’m going to be caring for her. I’m determined to keep our family life and finances on track so these aims posts will really be helping me. My Aims for September 2017 results post is now live.

Home aims for September 2017 – the results

Try 3 new slow cooker recipes. Achieved. Our slow cooker has been used TONS this past month. Almost daily! I’ve wrote a post too with a week of slow cooker dinners if you want some inspiration.

Sell or donate 20 items. Achieved. This was surprisingly easy. I sold 9 items on eBay. I also donated more than 11 items to the charity shop. On top of this I had a clear out for the food bank too. Yay!

Meal plan all month. Achieved. This was another win this month. I shared a new recipe that we tried, this bolognese pasta bake.

Clear out my wardrobe. Achieved. A couple of the items I sold on eBay were from my wardrobe. Including a baby product that I had never used before. It sold for £60 – which was a great boost to our holiday fund!

Financial aims for September 2017 – the results

Spend less than £200 on groceries. Achieved. Just! I had about £1.50 spare. We had some nice treats through the month, including wine and beer, did lots of meal planning and used our slow cooker lots. Also, I got the shopping delivered mostly, as this is more convenient for us at the moment. This makes it even more surprising that we achieved this goal!

Make £600+ from matched bettingAchieved. Again, only just. I made it by around £4. There were no huge wins this month, I think my biggest unexpected profit was £28 on a slots offer. Still, I have had a great month with matched betting. *You can find out more about matched betting and join up now for just £1!

Add £100 to my Amazon account. Achieved. I had a couple of £10s, a £50 and then a refund for something.

Add £500 to Tom’s premium bonds. Achieved. I think it was exactly £500 we added. Building up nicely now!

Online aims for September 2017 – the results

Hit 8,500 on my Twitter. Achieved. Woohoo!

Hit 650 on my PinterestAchieved. Yay!

Hit 2,750 on my InstagramAchieved. Yeahhhh! Finally things are moving on my Instagram again!

Keep my completed posts above 50. Achieved. I had to work hard at this but it’ll be worth it come November, and then Christmas, when I take whole weeks off work!

Create pinnable images for 25 old posts. Failed. Oops….! I completely forgot about this and have added it to my Thursday jobs now so I can get back on track.

Complete 4 pitches successfully. Achieved. I’ve had some fantastic work this week in particular but September has been a great month for pitching and having success. I’ve also pitched for products, as well as paid work, and been really pleased with the results.

Personal aims for September 2017 – the results

Arrange to cross 2 items off our bucket listAchieved. We grew flowers at our allotment, I attended the SHOMOs and I’ve arranged for us to visit the Shard.

Go to the allotment at least 5 times. Achieved. Only just! It is winding down now, which is fortunate, as we are about to have a really busy few months.

Read three books. Achieved. I’m still loving writing my What I’m Reading series (read the September one) and I’ve got two more books lined up for next month already!

Go to the Dentist. Achieved. Teeth are looking clean, feeling good and best of all – STILL no fillings. Hooray! My Dentist did mention that I’m not brushing as hard as I should. I’ve treated myself to a *Water Pic and I’m still using my favourite electric toothbrush!

So there you have it. A pretty good month all in all! Looking forward to seeing what October will bring for us. We are going to be REALLY busy, and it is our last full month at home before Christmas. Woohoo!

I love reading these posts, you’ve done amazingly and if I was half as organised as you’d I’d be thrilled! On the plus side for me, I’m actually getting to grips with tailwind slowly and have a week’s worth of pins scheduled, baby steps, ha!
