Air fryer cheesy chips

Ingredients for air fryer cheese fries:

400g chips of your choice – I often make air fryer chips, but this recipe is based on using frozen french fries or frozen chips. For best results I love to use steak cut frozen chips. They have a large surface area and so they can hold lots of cheese!

30g finely grated cheddar cheese – or other cheese of your choice. Mozzarella would work really well, and give you that wonderful cheese pull too!

10g parmesan or pecorino

1/8 tsp salt

What chips do you put in an air fryer?

Absolutely any! For this recipe I personally love to use frozen steak cut chips. They have a great surface area, ideal for lots of cheese, and this makes them comfortable to hold if you don’t want to use cutlery.

You could use frozen french fries, triple cooked chips or even make your own by following my recipe linked below.
