Another week has rolled around. Where do they go? I look forward to Monday as I love that feeling of a fresh new week starting. Working from home full-time means I never really know where the week is going to take us. We may have plans for practical things, such as the dentist, or plans for a day out but besides that who knows?! We’ve had weeks that have been amazing and weeks that are not so amazing, one consistent remains. Being together. Spending time with my family makes me feel absolutely privileged. I love knowing that my daughter doesn’t have to go to a nursery and that we can do almost anything at a moments notice. Living Arrows 9/52 is now live!
Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said that you can find here. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 9/52 – 2017
A week of new foods and drink!
I’m not the only person who regularly forgets Shrove Tuesday am I? Well Shrove Tuesday 2017 is in two days – on the 28th of February! You’ve got time to impress people with your World class pancakes and they are simple too. I’ve got a super easy recipe for you and tips on what cookware to use to achieve the best results.
I’ve never been a particular fan of subscription boxes – until the Degustabox! I love food, like most people, and I love to experiment with new flavours and recipes. The Degustabox is a fantastic monthly food subscription box with a wide variety of products from new and well known brands. Each month the box will have a theme and products within the box will follow along that theme. For example one month might be health and there will be lots of healthy food and drinks within the box. I have the Degustabox February 2017 box to review and there WILL be spoilers in this post!
Money saving is almost as important to me as money making. I love to be frugal where I can and I find that the smallest changes can add up to big amounts over the year. Being frugal is something that I enjoy, although I’m by no means tight. Being frugal for me is really about looking after my money, and not wasting it, but I don’t deprive myself either.
I love recipes that are quick. Sometimes you just want to bake something but you don’t want to spend ages doing so. This midnight cookies recipe is ideal when short on time and can be in the oven in under 10 minutes! Cooking time is fast too and they are tasty – which is what it is all about really isn’t it!
