Looking for some inspiration on where to hide your Christmas presents? You’ve come to the right place! Today I want to share with you my favourite place to stash Christmas presents and share a load of ideas from other bloggers too. Hopefully, this post will give you some inspiration on where to hide your Christmas presents! Make sure to avoid your shed or car boot as you may not be covered for insurance purposes.

The best places to hide your Christmas presents

My ultimate place to hide your Christmas is… in a suitcase! No-one would think to look there, I think anyway, and it makes great use of storage you already have in your home going unused. We have two suitcases so one holds Christmas presents, inside the larger one, and then the larger one has some swimming items around the edges. Things such as floats and rubber rings.

Here are the places to hide your Christmas presents from other Money bloggers and a few more tips from me:

Inside the wardrobe

Secrets hidden area at the back of the wardrobe!

In a big box on top of the children’s wardrobes

In a neighbour’s house

At grandparent’s house

Right at the top of some fitted cupboards, and in a hamper stuck on top of another cupboard

Under the bed

Box in the loft

In an office drawer

The garage

In a trailer in the garage

In a box in the bedroom in full view of everyone!

A laundry basket or the tumble drier

In the shop until Christmas Eve

A secret drawer filled with items bought throughout the year

Also – don’t forget to hide the wrapping paper when you hide your Christmas presents! You don’t want the children seeing that you have the same wrapping paper as Santa! Thanks to The Complaining Cow for this one!

Hiding presents in suitcases is a great idea! I’d not thought of that one. And also good thinking about hiding the wrapping paper too

Ooh I so needed to read this! I am running out of hiding places with four kids and a large family!! I’ve used up every spare space I can think of and am now spilling out into the shed, my parents house and the car boot!!

I used to hide them in the wardrobe but my toddler is into everything now and they wouldn’t stay hidden! Think I might have to take them round to my Mum’s this year.

I think I’m going to have to do that next year!

Luckily, granny has a watertight shed. Spread the cost over the year and keep the presents all hidden there.

I definitely will apply some of those ideas, I live in a small apartment and I always have problems to hide the presents, normally I leave them in the car but since it is in street everynight I am a bit scare.

Oh yes I would be scared to do that too!
