I’m an absolutely potato fanatic. The humble potato is super versatile, cheap, and absolutely delicious. I’ve got a ton of absolutely stunning potato recipes, from the simple roast potato to the fun looking hasselback potato and lots in between. These are my absolute best potato recipes, all tried and tested by me, and I am sure you will love them too.
Whether you want to serve up a quick meal, ready in just minutes, or have a little more time to dedicate to it I’ve got a ton of great potato recipes. All of these recipes can be made using white potatoes or sweet potatoes.
I absolutely love baked potatoes. They are versatile, filling, hearty and very cheap. You can use leftovers or just serve with sour cream and chives. You can make this recipe into a twice baked potato one with ease and it is great for meal prepping too.
All you need to make hasselback potatoes is a sharp knife, a little olive oil and a wooden spoon will help you make the perfect cuts. You get lovely crispy potatoes on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside. I love to top these with parmesan cheese a few minutes before serving for the ultimate crispy top.
I'm often rushing around in the kitchen, cooking 2 or 3 meals at a time, and so these air fryer mashed potatoes are super simple, hearty and delicious. It is a great way to cook perfect mashed potatoes without worrying about the hob boiling over. I love to serve my mash potatoes with garlic butter stirred through for the perfect hit of flavour. I love to use leftover mashed potato in a potato soup or to thicken up a casserole.
Mashed potatoes are a real comfort food but if you've got some leftovers then you can turn them into these super crispy, crunchy and delicious mashed potato balls. They go great with smoked salmon for a tasty meal.
Whether you're low on time, effort or funds these canned potatoes are really easy to liven up in the air fryer. They take just 1 minute to prepare and get cooking, and they are packed full of flavour too.
Homemade chips is properly one of the first ever potato recipes that everyone makes when they get an air fryer and I was no exception to this. I have been making homemade air fryer chips for years now. They're packed full of flavour, super cheap and ready in around half the time of oven cooking. Knowing how to cook chips in the Ninja Dual air fryer is one of the first things I ever learned when I got my latest air fryer.
Using my slow cooker for potato recipes isn't something that I do too often, however, these slow cooker chorizo loaded potatoes are packed full of flavour and cook perfectly. I find that some potato dishes stay a little hard in the slow cooker, but these are soft, steamed and packed full of flavour too.
One of my first ever recipes and one that I return back to time and time again. I absolutely love how simple it is to make roast potatoes in the air fryer. They are fast and require very minimal prep time and effort too. I do make frozen roast potatoes in the air fryer sometimes but homemade are my favourite!
These are similar to the ones that you get from your favourite takeaway and they are super frugal and simple too. Use up whatever vegetables you have at home and you've got a great low food waste meal.
I love crinkle cut chips and while I do own my own crinkle cutter sometimes I just want the convenience of throwing some frozen chips in the air fryer for a simple tea. These crinkle cut chips are really simple and you can keep them on hand for those low effort nights.
Sweet potato fries are a nice, flavoursome alternative to fries made with white potatoes. I absolutely love the flavour that sweet potatoes have and they're a nice alternative when you want to mix it up, without putting in lots of effort.
Now you've read all my lovely potato recipes if you're still looking for something else why not check out this toppings for chips post? It's full of fun, cheap, and tasty ideas to take the humble potato chips and make them into something a little more special.
