Despite knowing it is coming every year there are so many of us that Christmas just sneaks up on! I’m getting organised early this year, so you don’t have to, and want to share some last minute Christmas crafts with you!
I am really looking forward to a few days relaxing with my little family this Christmas. If you are also off work, or just want to get crafty, then here are some great last minute Christmas crafts that you can create with your family:
This fabric wreath is super easy last minute Christmas craft.
Make salt dough decorations. These can be made with things that are in your store cupboard. You will need 1 cup plain flour and 1 cup salt with around 1 cup of water. Mix it all together adding the water a bit at a time until you’ve got a dough consistency.
Roll out and use cookie cutters for shapes. Bake in the oven at 100c for about 2 hours and then once cool, paint in Christmassy colours and glitter. – Adventures of a Yorkshire Mum
Edible Christmas Tree activity: you will need buttercream, strawberry laces, sprinkles and sweeties plus biscuits and ice cream cornets. Spread buttercream on the biscuit and upend the ice cream cornet on to the biscuit. Slather with buttercream and drape the strawberry laces around like tinsel and the sweeties and sprinkles as if they are baubles and lights. – Sophie and Lily
Every year we make a different type of Christmas decoration for the children to give to their teachers, last year we melted crayon pieces inside glass baubles, you just chop them up in to small pieces, put them inside and then use a hairdryer to melt them (wear gloves though, they get hot!)
