How to freeze blackberries

My regular readers will know that we have an allotment. As such we have an excess of produce at particularly times of the year. I’m really good at freezing excess herbs, making jams and making delicious goodies. However there aren’t always enough hours in the day! This week I harvested 700g of blackberries – in just one visit to my allotment! Obviously I am really pleased but I didn’t have time to use them up. This is how to freeze blackberries!

My wonderful husband and I are proud owners of an allotment. It can be a lot of work but it is really rewarding too. Each week we visit 2-3 times, which really isn’t enough. However, despite our limited time we manage to grow lots of things, and keep some alive year round. Such as herbs.
