Good morning! Sorry that I’ve been quiet on the Living Arrows front for the last few weeks. I’m not sure what happened but I didn’t have any nice photos to share for a couple of weeks – so I just didn’t take part. Anyway, I’m back now and this weeks living arrows 25/52 post is now live!
On the weekend we went to visit Tom’s side of our family. Daisy had a great day playing in the garden, running around, drawing & colouring and playing with my niece Matilda, her cousin. It was a lovely day, with nice weather, and we got to have a nice chat, formulate some plans for when we FINALLY get the call or email to say we’ve got a house and just have a day off work.
Happy Monday! I’ve just completed my first full week getting back on track with cleaning, chores, working and errands. It’s been great! Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, and as Daisy is at Nursery from 7-7, Thomas and I are going out for lunch. Daisy and I had a weekend at home, which meant we had LOTS of hours to fill! We created her a new toy area on Friday and she has been loving that. Also, for the first time in 3 weeks I felt up to going out alone with Daisy so yesterday we headed off to the park. This weeks living arrows 22/52 post is now live!
When we got to the park my Mum was waiting. I love this park, as it is a few minutes from home for us and also a short walk for my Mum. It is usually really quiet, probably because it isn’t particularly fun for bigger children. Daisy loves that it has a slide, and swings, and a little crooked roundabout, which is great. I love that there are lots of trees around so the area is well shaded and I don’t have to bake too much on the walk there.
Happy Monday! I hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend. My husband celebrated his Birthday recently so we had a BBQ at my Mum’s on Saturday, his only day off, to celebrate. It was absolutely lovely. We got my Mum a gas BBQ a year or two ago and it’s great to be able to have nice little family BBQs. Anyway, this weeks living arrows 21/52 post is now live!
Daisy loves spending time in water and now there is a hot tub in my Mum’s garden she is completely in her element! Daisy has lots of inflatable toys, including ducks and a ball, and she also has a boat that she loves to climb into and float around on.
Happy Monday! I had my surgery on Tuesday last week and I’m already well on the mend. I’ve been very tired, and achy, which is to be expected. Because of this Daisy spent most of the weekend with her Grandma, hoping for nice weather to play in Grandma’s new hot tub. I’ve found it hard to sit around and do nothing for basically a week so today I am slowly getting back on track – starting with writing this post up! Sorry that the quality of my photos isn’t as high as normal this week – I’m using iPhone photos that my Mum kindly sent me. This weeks living arrows 20/52 post is now live!
Daisy loves going out with my Mum, her Grandma, as she always gets a new toy. This time she went to Poundland and these were the treats that she chose.
Happy Monday! I hope that the week ahead is a good one for us all. I’m off for an operation tomorrow so spending the day today keeping busy with household chores and spending time with Thomas and Daisy. Last week was an exciting one for us – as we got a new car! I was also exhausted after traveling to Blog On in Manchester so I missed taking part in last weeks Living Arrows post. This weeks living arrows 19/52 post is now live!
Here you can see Daisy and Thomas having an explore of the new car. Daisy loves that she has her own door now, as we’ve gone from a 3 door to a 5 door. She was a little disappointed to learn that she still has to sit in her ‘baby seat’ but I explained she’s got YEARS longer of that! The car has lots of features that our old car didn’t have but Daisy was just excited to learn that it has music inside, like the old one. When we didn’t instantly turn on the stereo she started singing instead all the way home.
