Happy Monday! I hope that the week ahead is a good one for us all. I’m off for an operation tomorrow so spending the day today keeping busy with household chores and spending time with Thomas and Daisy. Last week was an exciting one for us – as we got a new car! I was also exhausted after traveling to Blog On in Manchester so I missed taking part in last weeks Living Arrows post. This weeks living arrows 19/52 post is now live!
Here you can see Daisy and Thomas having an explore of the new car. Daisy loves that she has her own door now, as we’ve gone from a 3 door to a 5 door. She was a little disappointed to learn that she still has to sit in her ‘baby seat’ but I explained she’s got YEARS longer of that! The car has lots of features that our old car didn’t have but Daisy was just excited to learn that it has music inside, like the old one. When we didn’t instantly turn on the stereo she started singing instead all the way home.
Happy Monday! What a week it has been! Daisy moved up from 12 to 24 hours at Nursery. This seemed to go well, although she got a little sad about 30 minutes before the end of the evening, as other parents arrived to collect their children. Because of this, we have decided we will try and collect her at 6:30 where possible, instead of waiting until 7pm. I have been making the most of the extra hours already to work, complete chores and errands and just get ready for more days off together. This weeks living arrows 17/52 post is now live!
This weeks photo was taken by Thomas when I was having a nap. Daisy and I have had a bit of a tummy bug the last few days so we have been napping lots and taking it easy. Daisy absolutely loves playing with Duplo, as you can see, and has quite the collection now. We love toys that encourage Daisy to use her imagination and I know that Duplo is one of Tom’s favourite toys to play with too!
What a lovely week we have had! The weather has been really nice for most of the week and as such we have been making more of an effort to get outside in the fresh air. Daisy has been able to go to the park several times, go out for long walks and generally tire herself out for the reintroduction of the bedtime routine. This weeks living arrows 16/52 post is now live!
Daisy was really excited to get to the new inclusive playground that has been built near our home.
Happy Monday! We’ve had a bit of a difficult few days recently, so I’m not sure what this week is going to bring for us. Daisy and I will have a few days together though, as well as a weekend with Thomas home, which will be lovely. We are waiting for some news from the council, potentially today, that may make or break our week. I don’t want to go into all the details yet but it’s been a tough few days for sure! This weeks living arrows 14/52 post is now live!
This is a lower quality phone pic but just look at the happiness in Daisy’s face! It was her Birthday recently and due to chickenpox, we didn’t get to see everyone before she was contagious. Our friends came round and gave her this beautiful mermaid outfit, with a headband, that she has been absolutely loving.
Happy Monday! The fact that this post exists means that we survived our first full week of chickenpox. It has been LONG and honestly, I’m amazed I found time to even schedule this post. Daisy showed signs of chicken pox on Saturday, 9 days ago, and now it is full swing. This weeks living arrows 13/52 post is now live!
As you can see Daisy has quite a few spots, but definitely less severe than some of the cases I have seen shared by friends. I’m so thankful for that.
