Good morning! I hope you’ve had a great start to your week. We were supposed to be heading off to the hospital this Friday for allergy testing, but they have had to postpone this now due to staffing issues. It’s a shame but we’re going to just get to enjoy more time together instead. This weeks living arrows 33/52 post is now live!
This photo is just over a week old but I wanted to share this photo, as I know I’ll want to look back on this little trip out in the future.
Happy Monday! I hope you’ve had a great week. Daisy had no side effects from her vaccinations, which was great, and has enjoyed a great week. Despite this, I’m going to show you a photo from the week before last, as I just can’t resist. I can’t believe how grown-up Daisy is looking. She is almost 3.5 and I swear the last few years have just whizzed by in a blur! This weeks living arrows 32/52 post is now live!
I took this photo of Daisy in Grandma’s garden last week. It really hit home for me that we will have our own garden too, and that Daisy looks SO grown up with her hair like this. I’m so glad we let her choose her own hair cut and she seems to be really happy with it too. We still need to clip it back, as it does go in her face a little, but she seems cooler overnight and just generally more content when playing. I don’t have to see her moving the hair from her eyes 100 times a day now which is nice.
Happy Monday – I hope you had a lovely weekend! We sure did! Thomas was home from work this weekend and we really all had a chance to recharge our batteries. All in all, it has been a lovely week. Daisy had her pre-school booster injections and handled them so well. No tears or sadness, no anger & best of it she didn’t suffer any negative side effects, which I was so relieved about with her having FPIES. This weeks living arrows 31/52 post is now live!
Daisy enjoyed a nap in the daytime, which rarely happens anymore. It was so lovely to get half hours peace, although she did wake up quite upset afterwards as her injections were coming up. Daisy was definitely feeling anxious beforehand, but I explained that the pain would be momentary and she would be feeling fine afterwards. Also, I briefly explained the importance of vaccinations to her too.
Happy Monday – I hope you’ve had a great first week of the Summer holidays. I’m really aware that this is the last summer that Daisy will be in childcare – eek. How has this come around so fast? I’m sure before I know it we’ll be getting ready for her to go off to school! This weeks living arrows 30/52 post is now live!
I know this isn’t the best photo, but Daisy was about to go out of the door last night, to her Grandma’s house, and I realised that I didn’t have ANY photos from this week that I could use in this post. The weather has been SO hot and we’ve been spending lots of time in our PJs, keeping cool playing with water lots.
Happy Monday! I hope you’ve had a great week. Thomas had a full week off work which was lovely. We didn’t really plan much, as we didn’t know beforehand if we would finally have a house or not. As we don’t we decided to just enjoy some peace and quiet at home together. Daisy went to Nursery as normal and so this gave Thomas and me a chance to recharge our batteries. This weeks living arrows 29/52 post is now live!
This photo was taken just before Daisy had her hair cut. She’s grubby, in her favourite PJs and she brought my camera in to the bedroom. She asked me to take a photograph of her and then later she took one of me too – it was surprisingly good for a 3-year-old!
