My family are big fans of visiting Centerparcs. We have taken part in a number of activities in the past but one of our favourites, is visiting Santa’s Woodland Workshop. Our daughter Daisy was just 7 months old when we first visited. We have visited in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Santa has been visited in Longleat, Woburn and Elveden by us, and we’ve been so pleased with this activity. We’re going back in 2020 and already have our slot booked!
This is our review of Santa’s Woodland Workshop. If you’re reading this as you’ll be visiting Centerparcs soon then be sure to check out what to pack for Centerparcs! Also, if you’re wondering how I can afford to visit Centerparcs so much it is because I get free holidays thanks to matched betting! I save up the money that I make through the year and use some of it to have lovely breaks with my family.
As you can see we were very excited to get inside! It was raining LOTS on of one the occasions that we visited but it didn’t dampen our spirits or stop us from having fun.
AD. As parents to a two-year-old, we love nothing more than a good trip to a farm or zoo. Anywhere that we can entertain our little one, preferably for a few hours at least, with hot coffee nearby, is good with us! If we are able to teach Daisy new things about animals, caring for them and where some of our food and drink comes from then even better! Thomas and Daisy were invited along to Lee Valley Park Farms to enjoy their conservation week, during February half-term, and to celebrate the farm re-opening for 2019.
If you read my blog or follow me on social media, you will know I love a trip to Centerparcs! My family and I visit at least twice a year, often more than this, and we love trying out a new lodge. Recently we enjoyed a Winter stay in a Centerparcs Waterside Lodge located in Elveden Forest. This is the nearest Centerparcs to our home and we tend to visit it pretty frequently. I’m going to share my honest review with you, talking about what I believe can be changed, and what we loved about our Centerparcs Waterside Lodge. The Centerparcs Waterside Lodge
We stayed in the third lodge, on the right. This was number 94 and was named Sloop. All of the lodges have the same facilities and amenities but this one was the least overlooked in our opinion. When we were in the lodge we couldn’t see anyone, besides through one of the windows. When we were enjoying the deck area we also couldn’t see anyone until we stood near the gas barbeque.
At the beginning of 2018 I set myself a few goals, to be a little bit braver! One of those goals, that made it on to my 2018 bucket list, was to ride the Emirates airline cable car. I’m sure to some people this doesn’t seem like a big deal, at all, but I’m really scared of heights! Since my daughter was born in 2016 I have wanted to do more, try more and enjoy life more. This was just one of the small things that I wanted to achieve this year and I managed it! Today I’m sharing my Emirates airline cable car review with you, and my thoughts as someone who is scared of heights!
AD. It’s already been several months since our trip to Bluestone and my husband and I were wanting a little mini break. As my brother lives down in Clacton-On-Sea and had space to put us up, we decided we’d make a weekend of it and travel down late on Friday when Thomas finished work. I used to live near Clacton-On-Sea but I haven’t been back for quite a few years now, and so I wanted to see if it was still the same!
