We were gifted this item in exchange for coverage. We’ve got mirrored furniture. Not our best idea. When we first bought it I wanted it to give our room lots more space, and a lighter and airier feel. This worked out really well and I never regretted our choice. Until we had Daisy of course. Now the mirrored furniture in our bedroom is frequently covered with tiny fingerprints, mysterious splatters and other assorted toddler mess. I do still enjoy having the mirrored furniture, as it is so handy for looking around the room at night, checking on Daisy, making the room feel more spacious and improving the light too. Recently I was sent the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner to review and I want to let you know my thoughts on it!

My thoughts on the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner

The first time I used this I placed it on charge for around one hour. There was a flashing light that blinked until the battery was charged.

To use this all I had to do was take it off charge, fit the flexible head and then it was ready to use. There is a removable water tank that sucks in all the excess liquid and this holds 220ml. I think you’d be able to do a LARGE amount of glass cleaning with this vacuum before it needed emptying. I cleaned my mirrored furniture, patio doors and kitchen window and it only had a small amount of liquid in. Then again I used a spray bottle of glass cleaner, rather than an excessive amount of water.

When it came to using this window vacuum cleaner I sprayed my mirrors, like so:

Then I gave them a wipe with a microfibre cloth, to remove any dirt, and then used the vacuum cleaner to dry the mirrors and remove the excess moisture.

As you can see the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner cleaned my mirrors well, and left them without streaks.

I find it simple to press the button to start the vacuum, and I found that it worked well. There were a few marks the first wipe down but I repeated this and as it cleared the last of the moisture it left no streaks behind.

Overall I would say that this is a little bit of a faddy product on the surface. However, it saved me time and more importantly it saved me elbow grease. On the days and weeks when I am suffering a flare up it is going to be fantastic to save some effort on the cleaning. Also, it means that Daisy can help me out if she wants to! I’d probably rate this 4 stars out of 5.

While I’m pleased with the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner I’m actually going to be taking it over to my Mum’s house to use there for the next couple of months. My Mum is going to be having open heart surgery soon and I’ll be helping keep her home clean. I’ll be using this on all her many windows and her back door to keep her home looking sparkling and fresh while she is recuperating.

You can buy the Daewoo Window Vac 12W Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner from *Amazon and it has an RRP of £22.99. This price is pretty reasonable, especially compared to similar items. I’d be happy to pay this, but probably not much more.

This window vacuum has helped me save a little time and effort, which is always appreciated. It works as advertised and is comfortable to use.
