We were gifted the items within this gife guide in exchange for coverage. Father’s Day is almost upon us and I’ve been thinking about what to get for Thomas, and Ronald, my Father-in-law. Father’s Day is a great opportunity to say thank you to Thomas, for being a wonderful husband, and Ronald for being a wonderful Father and Grandfather. On my side, my own Father has passed away, and my Grandfather has too, so I try to make the best of the day and ensure that my husband has a lovely day. Today I want to share with you my Father’s Day Gift Guide for 2018 which I hope is packed full of ideas and inspiration!
My husband Thomas has been running for a few months now and has vastly impressed his fitness as a result. The Sol Republic Amps Air Wireless Earbuds in Black are absolutely fantastic as there are no wires for him to get tied up in while running. These headphones provide true wireless freedom with premium sound and are ideal for working out, and they have a built-in microphone for making telephone calls. These are compatible with all Bluetooth devices.
For Mother’s Day Daisy got me a lovely ‘Me To You’ bear and when I saw this personalised Tatty Teddy Bear I knew it would be perfect! It has been personalised to a ‘No 1 Daddy’ from Daisy and it is adorable!
No Father’s Day Gift Guide would be complete without mentioning a Father’s Day card! I chose Thomas this card from Thortful which has cards for all occasions. Best of all this one is personalised and contains individually wrapped mini chocolate bars inside! You can use code KATYKICKER for 20% off your first purchase (not including postage). Valid until 8th June 2018.
We’re looking to move soon and Thomas is really excited to have his own garden to work in. The Dremel Stylo+ is a fantastic tool for carving your personality into garden furniture and much more. You can carve, engrave, polish, cleaning and sand with this fantastic multi-tool.
Looking after yourself is something that is important to my husband. If the Father in your life is the same then check out the Dove Men +Care range. Gift sets start are reasonably priced and available from Asda, Tesco, Co-Op and Morrisons.
For the boxing fan in our family, this Judgement Day print from Art of Football is perfect. You can find it in a print or canvas, and Art of Football have a range of sporting goods for a variety of teams and sports.
We’re always on the go, which is great as we have a wonderful life, but sometimes it means our devices start to run flat. Thomas has commented on this a few times recently, as we’re missing recording moments of our lives when our phone batteries are dead, so I got him a Varta Slimline Power Bank. This can re-charge our iPhones FIVE TIMES before it needs re-charging – amazing!
We don’t have access to water where our car is parked and so when I saw these ArmorAll waterless car cleaning goodies I knew they would be perfect for Thomas. Now he won’t have to spend a small fortune on valet services and Daisy can even join in too! The perfect weekend activity in the nice weather! With waterless wash & wax, wash & wax wipes and wax wipes our car can be looking spick and span in no time. You can find the waterless range in Halfords.
If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that my teeth have got whiter and healthier in recent years, after a few problems during pregnacy. I’ve been visiting my Dentist even more regularly, having clean & polishes done and we’ve been using an Oral B toothbrush. This one is an upgrade on the current one we have, which is no longer holding charge so well, and I know Thomas is going to love it! This comes with a lithium-ion battery, a USB charging case, that can even charge your smartphone, and has position detection technology which is going to be amazing for us! Available from Boots.
The weather is always lovely around Father’s Day and what better way to celebrate than with these lovely beers from Best of British Beer?! They have a vast array of beers, to suit most budgets, and this is ideal for carrying to a barbeque at our in-law’s house for Father’s Day weekend! You can use code FREEDELKK to get yourself free delivery on your next order.
For me, no Father’s Day Gift Guide would be complete without a wallet. I’m not sure if it is because my husband is generous, or just a tad careless, but he seems to go through wallets like they are going out of fashion! This Leather Credit Card Wallet from Zippo is made from genuine leather and comes gift boxed. It comes embossed with the Zippo logo and feels like it is fantastic quality. There is even a clear wallet pocket for displayed ID or perhaps a photograph of the three of us.
We’re fortunate to go away on quite a few trips now throughout the year. This leather toiletry bag from Zippo is going to be a fantastic way of storing all of Thomas’ toiletries and beard care items when we’re staying in hotels around the UK.
As Thomas is looking after himself more and wants to head to Paris next year, I wanted to share with him the Parisian field guide to men’s style. This beautiful book has been created to allow men, of all ages, to show off the best Parisian styles and look chic.
Thomas sports a beard, which I love, but he still trims areas of his face with a razor. The new Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Sense has 7 hydrating pools, containing menthol, helps to keep the skin feeling energized.
My Father-In-Law doesn’t have the best eyesight and needs two pairs of glasses, for different purposes. Thanks to Eyejusters he’ll be able to use just one pair of glasses, even when reading. You can use these glasses for reading a book, using a computer, hobbies & DIY and more. You simply turn the hidden eyeDials and you’re able to adjust the focus as required. You can adjust the lenses from +0.50D to +4.00D which is a great range.
We’ve been exploring the UK a lot more as a family since Daisy was born, and loving it. This is a backpack ideal for camping trips from The North Face. The Borealis Rage backpack is a 28-litre backpack that is ideal for toting around everything the three of us could need on a day out. Also, I’m going to be using it for picnics too where I want to carry food and my camera at the same time.
As an early treat, I recently sent Thomas and his Father off to the DC Exhibition: Dawn of Super-Heroes at The O2, London. They had an absolutely fantastic morning enjoying this DC Exhibition featuring items from Superwoman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more. For Father’s Day 2018, Fathers can experience the exhibition with their children, and go free with an accompanying child, (T&Cs apply) from 11-17 June. This is the perfect gift for the DC loving Father in your life.
Father’s Day falls on a weekend, and one in June no less, making it the ideal time for a BBQ with all the family. This Weber gas barbecue is sleek, simple to use and has enough room to cook food for six people in one go! This particular model was a Which Best Buy in 2017 – and I can see why! It has built-in car handles, two work tables that fold, tool holders, and even has a lid with a built-in thermometer. This makes it easy to adjust the gas to get the perfect cooking temperature.
