Have you ever wondered if you can get paid to search the web? Today I am going to talk to you about just that! Now firstly, let me start by saying… You will not get rich by searching the web, however, you could make around £15-£20 per month.
If you was to save up the money you made when you get paid to search the web then you could have £200 put away by Christmas 2021!
When you look at it this way those small amounts soon add up and could help you with some holiday spends or even with Christmas or Birthday presents.

Get paid to search the web with Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a get paid to website that allows you to earn Swagbucks that you can exchange for a variety of rewards. You can redeem your Swagbucks for Paypal, Amazon and more.
By using the Swagbucks search engine you can earn from 4 – 50 Swagbucks. It is possible to win Swagbucks 3-4 times a day, but I personally just aim for 2. I have found that I can complete 10-15 searches and I will usually win 2 amounts of Swagbucks in that time.
The amounts that I win tend to average at around 8 Swagbucks per win. In the average month I will win around 600-800 Swagbucks, based on 2 wins per day.
600-850 Swagbucks is equal to around £3.50-£5.00 but this varies from month to month.
With minimal effort I am able to earn £3-£5 per month from Swagbucks searches, just for using their search engine. I usually spend about 1-2 minutes a day on the searches and usually average a win every 5-8 search terms.

Get paid to search the web with InboxPounds
InboxPounds has a search bar where you can earn yourself a few pence per day. By undertaking natural searches you can earn 15p for 30 searches per day.
You must be sure to undertake searches that are genuine or you may find that you don’t receive all of the credit you thought.
15p per day is obviously a tiny amount but it adds up to around £4.50 per month. As the cashout amount is £20 you could be receiving a couple of cashouts every year.
You could reach cashout even faster by undertaking a variety of other activities on their website. You can read more about these by reading this post.
Get paid to search the web with InstaGC
InstaGC has a search area, like Swagbucks and InboxPounds. You will win a random amount, usually ranging from 1-5 points. I personally make just a few pounds a month here, usually £2-3, as I don’t search as much as I do on other sites.
The amounts you can win are completely random here and you must be sure to undertake genuine searches. InstaGC reserve the right to revoke points if they feel that you are manipulating the search feature. This is probably what puts me off searching more but I’m happy with this small amount through the month.
I tend to save my points for instant Amazon vouchers, ready on hand for Birthday presents through the year. When combined with Amazon Prime I am able to get last minute presents without spending any money.
160 points is equal to a £1 Amazon gift voucher, but they have lots of other ways you can earn money too. You can learn more about InstaGC by reading this post.
Get paid to search the web with Qmee
Qmee is a little bit different in that you don’t have to actually visit a website to use it. You install a browser addon and it works alongside your search engine to make you money. While browsing the web you may see the Qmee popup appear on the left hand side of your screen.
It will have amounts of money next to links, ranging from around 5 – 12p. All you need to do is click on the link, wait for the little piggy icon at the top right to receive it’s penny and then you’re done!
I personally make at least £5 per month from Qmee, but I am quite active on the internet as I work from home full-time. I have found results for a number of different gifts, websites and search terms.
Qmee is a great way to build up your money and you can cashout anytime that you want to, as long as you have 1p or more in your account. Payments are instant via Paypal too which is great!
My top tip to get paid to search the web… Search for the same phrases across the different websites. For example if you wanted to find an item for sale then consider opening Swagbucks, InstaGC and InboxPounds.
This will allow you to copy and paste the search terms across the three sites quickly and efficiently. Once you have completed 10 searches you should have racked up some search wins.
If you complete 30 searches per day, perhaps spread over a few visits per day, then you could easily make £15-£20 a month.
You’re never going to make millions
This is never going to make you rich but over the year these small amounts really do add up. I personally have the websites search areas bookmarked and it takes me just 2-3 minutes per day to complete my 30 searches.
This adds up to a nice hourly amount throughout the month, well, a nice amount for get paid to websites at least!

These are great ways to earn just from searching! I personally only use Qmee, I would use the others for searching, but I prefer the results from the Google search engine.
