We were gifted this book in exchange for coverage. I cannot believe that my daughter is almost one. That first year just flies by. I’m sure the years that follow will feel even faster as time goes on. One way that we are marking our daughter’s first Birthday is with this lovely book. HeyWow Books contacted me a few weeks back and offered us the chance to review one of their lovely books. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the post for this book as it is something really special I think! Have a little look at the front cover here:

HeyWow Books - Daisy in the City

As you can see that is my daughter Daisy on the front – inside a little car. As Daisy is going to be 1 this month it seemed pretty appropriate!

HeyWow Books – The order process

This was super straight forward. All I needed was one image of Daisy where you can see her hair, arms and top half of her body. This was not as straight forward as it seemed and it took me a whole day of trying to get Daisy to pull a half decent face. Daisy was staring in to space, tired, when I took this image but it worked out. I was really pleased with how well the image I used came out though. I’ve had a good chuckle looking through the pages at my girls lovely face and her expression.

HeyWow Books – Delivery

The delivery was prompt, just a few days after my order. I got an email when it was despatched. The book arrived well packaged in firm card and it was pristine.

HeyWow Books – The book itself

It is absolutely amazing! Every single page of the book has my gorgeous daughter in and I couldn’t be happier with it. HeyWow Books offer something that I haven’t seen before and the images have been tailored to fit within each of the pages. It feels like effort has gone in to creating this book for me and it is fantastic quality. The pages are thick and the quality of the images are fantastic.

HeyWow Books - Daisy in the cafe

There is my little daughter – open mouthed glancing at a piece of cake. How cute is that!

HeyWow Books - Daisy in the cinema

My Princess is at the cinema holding a nice pot of popcorn!

I struggled a little to take decent images of the book. Rest assured that the quality is even better than the images here. The images are crisp and sharp. My daughter looks gorgeous and I can make out the detail in her dress too. Seeing Daisy on the pages has been absolutely lovely and I really enjoyed looking through this book with my husband.

My daughter is only eleven months old so obviously she is a little young to understand that is her. Despite this we have still enjoyed looking through the pages together. I enjoy looking for Daisy on each page and she likes looking at all the other children. Daisy loves children and smiles and waves at the ones outside the school when we go swimming.

HeyWow Books are fantastic! They have different books in the pipeline so I can’t wait to see what else they will have to offer! You can buy your own book here and they are priced at £19.99 including FREE shipping.
