Hello! I’m a little late with my post this month, as my Mum has been in the hospital for the last few days. We have decorated our kitchen and I’ve been very busy with some great work campaigns, which I feel privileged about! Items that were gifted to me for a possible mention within this feature will be clearly marked with a #. Advertorials are clearly marked with AD.
Recipe: Slow cooker roast beef

Still a firm favourite during the cold weather we have been having. I leave this to rest for 10 minutes until some foil and it still slices beautifully!
Shows I’ve been loving on Netflix this month

Netflix: The Good Place (Season 4)
I had a break from this for so long and I’ve really been enjoying it again recently while decorating my kitchen. This season has hit different from others, probably because of the changes to the ‘Good Place’. If you’ve dipped in and out before then definitely give this season a chance!
Netflix: The Crown
We are onto the 3rd season now and I’m still really enjoying it. We tend to watch a couple of hours a week and recently watched an episode about Aberfan which was so sad, but so well covered too.
Netflix: Time: The Kalief Browder Story
This is a harrowing story of deeply ingrained racism and injustices in the ‘justice’ system in America. I didn’t know Kalief’s story before I watched it but it was gripping. I cried, lots, watching this. If you’re someone who is always looking to open their eyes more to racism and injustice (if not, why not?!) then this is a must-watch.
Product: *Echo Show 8
I spend around an hour a day in my kitchen, cooking, cleaning, prepping for the next dinner etc. I wanted to be able to watch videos in my kitchen, without needing my phone, while having the Alexa capabilities so I decided to treat myself to the *Echo Show 8 and *Echo Show adjustable stand.
Product: *100% cotton tea towels
While redecorating our kitchen recently I realised just how tatty and horrible my tea towels were. So I cut those into rags for cleaning and treated myself to some lovely new ones! They look lovely in my newly painted grey kitchen and the quality feels nice too when I’m washing up!
Product: *Wi-fi extender
I got fed up of not having decent signal at the top of my house so I bought this. It took just a few minutes to set up and means now I can watch YouTube videos while I’m in bed at night without it dropping the connection frequently.
Product: *Cover for Dry:Soon heated airer
I’m still loving this as it is the perfect accessory for my *Dry:Soon heated airer. The cover has sped up the time it takes to dry washing which saves me a little money too.
Simply Cook boxes!

I am still loving the Simply Cook boxes. You choose 4 meals and then Simply Cook send you out a letterbox sized box (ideal if you’re not home every day!) with 3 spice, herb & stock blends plus a recipe card for each recipe. It is really convenient to just keep a stock of vegetables and some frozen chicken or Quorn and make a tasty dinner in next to no time.
Using my link for just £1 you can get 4 of these little kits to liven up mealtimes and get some mealtime inspiration. I’ve got a couple of boxes now so that next time I want to cook something a bit different I’ve got the inspiration already on hand! If you want to grab a box for £1 just *sign up to Simply Cook. This is a subscription service so be sure to cancel if you don’t want it to renew at £9.99 – I just set myself a reminder for a few days before the next box needed to be selected.
If you enjoyed this post I’d love it if you could pin it on Pinterest!
