Happy New Year! I hope the start of your year has been good so far. I’ve got off to a productive start, writing lots of content and getting ahead for the coming weeks. I always start the year like this and hope that I can continue forward with this! Anyway, this weeks living arrows 1/52 post is now live!

Living Arrows 1/52 [2019] Daisy reaching out to me

In this photograph, Daisy was reaching her hand out because she wanted to take some photographs of me. I allowed this, as I love teaching her new things, and she proceeded to take a video of me with the camera slowly falling down towards the floor and me lunging out to catch it! Very comical!

Living Arrows 1/52 [2019] Daisy playing toys

Daisy is at an awkward stage with her hair where the fringe type area is growing long too, and I don’t want to cut it. I’ve never taken Daisy for a haircut, as you can probably tell, but I’m fine with that. I’ll do so when I’m confident that Daisy is capable of sitting still for a few seconds. You can probably tell from the background, and the amount of mess, and her blurry hands, that she can do a LOT in just a few minutes.

I am going to try and capture more photographs as the moment happens for Living Arrows in 2019 and I’m starting right off the bat! I don’t mind that Daisy looks a little messy, as this is a genuine depiction of our real life. We play lots of toys, and those Play-Doh tubs have probably been mixed together.

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows 1/52 post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows in 2017. You can also look back at the same week last year, Living Arrows 1/53 – if you fancy a look at how much Daisy has changed in the past year!

Aww! She is such a cutie!
I think a messy kid is a happy kid. It shows that they are having fun!
Mixed Play-Doh does annoy me. My youngest got some for Christmas and she still mixes the colours. Grr!

Ahh thanks so much! Haha I HATE the mixed Play-Doh! x

Daisy looks happy, that’s all I see not messy hair or blurry hands, I love how many activities and experiences you give her. My two are moving away from play-doh now so no more cringing at mixed up colours for me lol. Have a great week x #livingarrows

My phone is full of random photos that Ava has taken, I love looking through them though and seeing what she has captured.

My toddler is very energetic too and I was worried the first time I took him for a haircut. To my surprise, he stood still for the whole time admiring himself in the mirror and I totally didn’t expect that. They can prove you very wrong sometimes, when you don’t even expect it 🙂

Oh wow, that makes me feel a bit more confident! I might brave it soon!

Kippers fringe has grown so long its in his eyes too. The husband keeps telling me to get it cut but it can just be swept aside and he doesn’t seem to mind. I know what you mean some of our photos, I could do with making sure we record the simple things as well as the adventures. I am super jealous you have lots of content scheduled. I have nothing, not even next weeks living arrows! xx

Ahh thanks, the content soon runs out again then though, almost as quick as my motivation!

Oh I love her expression in that second photo! We’ve still never taken Nerys for a haircut, but I trim her fringe myself at home when it gets too long. Luckily she sits still nicely for me to do that part! x #LivingArrows

Oh that’s good though! I might have a go at trimming it myself one of these days, or I could get my home hairdresser to do it! I guess I’ll have to do something soon though as it is getting a bit messy!

Ahh that’s adorable! I bet she’ll be your best photographer in no time! x

These are lovely pictures of Daisy – it’s great to capture the ordinary moments too isn’t it? I’m looking forward to seeing her grow through another year of Living Arrows 🙂

    • katykicker January 16, 2019 / 12:52 pm

Yeah it really is. I’m trying to capture more normal days and activities for us to look back on in years to come.
