Good morning! I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. This week ahead is a very busy one so hopefully all goes well as we have a lot of visitors, events and activities going on!

Daisy and Daddy being silly together!
Daddy and Daisy being silly together!

The past week has been a good one. A new baby welcomed into my family, making me a great Aunt, and some great work for me too. Daisy and I got lots of time together on the weekend, which always makes me feel good, and Thomas and Daisy watched some films and enjoyed some quality time together too.

Recently Daisy and Daddy have been watching Up, Inside Out and a few other great films. Daisy is starting to express a lot more emotion now during film time and was really sad when the lady died in Up! It was so endearing, but a little sad to witness. She did have some funny observations to make too which were interesting to see. I can’t believe how fast Daisy is growing up now – she will be 4 in just a couple of weeks and we’re going to have a Toy Story 4 themed tea at home with family!

As per usual, Daisy has 2 full days and 2 half days out of the house next week. I actually can’t believe it is just 6 weeks until we find out what school Daisy will be going to! That’ll fly by now I know! Hopefully, Daisy is going to be going to our 1st choice school, which isn’t the nearest to our house. I wanted the option to explore multiple schools and also select one based on how well we feel it’ll suit Daisy, rather than proximity to our house. Of course, this doesn’t mean we are guaranteed a place, so we will soon see!

Kipper will also start school in Sept. We also haven’t opted for our catchment school so I am keeping everything crossed. Hope you have had a good week
