Monday is here again, already. Mad! Anyway, Monday is always a good day for our household. We are all organised for the week ahead (mostly). We have activities that we plan each week, to avoid sitting home every single day. This is hard for me as I’m self-employed so obviously need to be near my computer to make money. However, I don’t want Daisy stuck in everyday. Now that the weather is getting nicer we are getting out and about more. We’ve got an allotment too so that will be keeping us busy this Spring. Another week has gone by and Living Arrows 10/52 is now live!

Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 10/52 - Daisy enjoying her dairy free chocolate

A yummy dairy free chocolate dessert!

Living Arrows 10/52 - Daisy testing out toys in Toys R Us

Last week my husband had to visit a local hospital for an appointment. On the way home we decided to go for a lunch together (Chiquitos) and then when we had finished we went to Toys R Us. Daisy had a great time testing out some of the cars etc. At one point I was going to buy her the Mini Cooper but my husband pointed out we don’t have a lot of space. This is true. Also, I don’t really have the strength to carry Daisy, her belongings AND a car down 48 stairs. I’m often home alone (3-4 days a week) so this just doesn’t work. Still, we have compromised by buying her something special for her birthday.

While out we went to Tesco to stock up on some dairy free bits for Daisy. Tesco have a fantastic range now and we have three different stores in our town. While there I spotted a chocolate dessert (dairy free) in the reduced section. Daisy absolutely loved it – as you can see. I felt really proud that she could enjoy a rare treat. It can be harder to find nice tasting treats for dairy free babies.

We’ve had another fantastic week. We haven’t done anything spectacular but we’ve had great fun together – which is what counts for us. The week ahead is going to be about swimming, visiting family and having a few days to visit our allotment hopefully. Have a wonderful week!

I think it is only the 2nd or 3rd time that she has had something dairy free that she enjoyed! Was nice to see.
