Living Arrows 12/52 – A trip to the allotment

This last week hasn’t been another great one, I’ll be honest. Daisy has had hand, foot & mouth. I’ve then also come out in a horrible rash on my face… We managed to leave the house TWICE in an entire week. Once before the outbreak and once yesterday, to celebrate Daisy’s Birthday with family. As we are off on holiday today for Daisy’s birthday (tomorrow) I’m hopeful we’ll have a great week this week. Anyway, another week has passed and here is my Living Arrows 12/52 post.

Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said that you can find here. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

We had a lovely day at the allotment and then we stopped off at the park on the way home.

It was lovely to be able to spend time together with my husband and Daisy. We had a lovely day and really enjoyed the sunshine.

We went down our allotment after my physio appointment and we got to work. Planting was the order of the day so we planted onions, potatoes, garlics and spinach. I’m really excited to spend lots of time at our allotment this year. We’ve got off to a great start and I’m hopeful that we will have a fruitful year.

For now I’m off with my lovely family to enjoy a holiday. We are going to Centerparcs and I’m looking forward to visiting Woburn again – for the first time in two years. I’ll look forward to sharing a few photographs with you next week when we are back!

I didn’t realise you have an allotment. We have veg patches at the end of the garden and I can’t wait to get back out there. It looks like you had the perfect weather for it x

My husband decided to get it when I was in the first trimester. After several years of waiting he decided to chase and then he took TWO huge plots. Must be mental sometimes but we fit it all in somehow!

Sorry to hear you’ve both been unwell, it’s miserable isn’t it! My 2 have been bad with a tummy bug that’s doing the rounds and we’ve been stuck in most of the week too, not fun. Hope your household is well again soon! x #LivingArrows

It is lovely isn’t it. I never used to be that bothered about getting outside until I had my daughter!
