The Birthday cake featured in this post was gifted to us. Last week we went on holiday! We had such a wonderful relaxing time. Also, while we were there we celebrated Daisy’s 1st Birthday. It was a wonderful week all in all. Finally Daisy and I have recovered from being unwell with various bugs and then hand, foot & mouth. All in all I feel like we’ve finally got back on track with our health and we have had an absolutely lovely past week! Living Arrows 13/52 is now live!
Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 13/52 – 2017
Daisy was playing with the ducks at the exact moment she was born one year before – she was sharing her rice cake!
One of Daisy’s Birthday presents was a trike. She had great fun riding along on it and already wants to steer and pedal herself!
The past week has been a wonderful one. I feel so grateful to be here to enjoy nice holidays with my family. Daisy’s birth was traumatic and I’m so relieved that the past year is over. Daisy is doing well and her health has improved. I feel great in myself, both physically and mentally, too.
Daisy loved her Birthday week at Centerparcs and got to enjoy a lovely Safari cake thanks to the good people at Just Love Food Company. They handmade Daisy Birthday cakes (two!) and this was the one that Daisy enjoyed while we were on holiday. Daisy also received a gorgeous chocolate cake – for a DIY cake smash photoshoot! This cake was a FREEFROM cake and it tasted lovely! I was so happy that Daisy didn’t have to miss out on a Birthday cake just because she has allergies. This cake was free from gluten, wheat, milk & nuts. Our whole family enjoyed a slice together and was really surprised at how nice it was! I’ve kept the little ribbon for the memory box as it was too cute not to!
Our past week has been a great one! The week ahead is full of boring things, such as 1 year injections, so I’m hoping to squeeze in fun activities too. I’m thinking soft play, feeding the ducks at our local park and swimming too. Have a great week!
