Happy Monday! We’ve had a bit of a difficult few days recently, so I’m not sure what this week is going to bring for us. Daisy and I will have a few days together though, as well as a weekend with Thomas home, which will be lovely. We are waiting for some news from the council, potentially today, that may make or break our week. I don’t want to go into all the details yet but it’s been a tough few days for sure! This weeks living arrows 14/52 post is now live!
This is a lower quality phone pic but just look at the happiness in Daisy’s face! It was her Birthday recently and due to chickenpox, we didn’t get to see everyone before she was contagious. Our friends came round and gave her this beautiful mermaid outfit, with a headband, that she has been absolutely loving.
Last week was up and down, as I said. Despite having a few stressful things going on, that I’ll go into more soon, we have had lots of great times playing toys, having fun and Daisy is well enough to have gone back to childcare now. I’m really happy for her, and me, as my workload was getting a little bit stressful! I am very grateful to work a job where I can be home with Daisy when she needs me, and most of my work can wait until she is back at childcare, so I don’t have to spend hours working when she is home. I know lots of people would be really grateful for that – but I am relieved that she is back to childcare now and socialising with other children.
