Good morning, happy Monday. I hope that you and your family are keeping well in these difficult times. We are doing our best just to enjoy time together, get out in the garden where we can and just generally do what we can to stay as safe as possible. Thomas is still out working, which is a real shame, and feels a little bit scary at this time it is what it is, and we are just doing our best to stay safe together as a family. Daisy is really enjoying having us around all/most of the time and I am enjoying this for the blessing that it really is. I’m so glad we made the decision to keep Daisy home safe before lockdown began as it gave us some time to settle into a routine before things got too difficult. Living Arrows 15/52 is now live!

Daisy has been loving all our garden activities!

The weather was lovely in the last week. This was great, as it meant that we can spend lots of time out in the garden together, and this felt like a real treat especially as we are not going out for daily walks. Daisy is 4 and so she loves to play on her *Tuff tray, with lots of water, use her science table, and ride up and down the garden on her scooter and bike. I put out a request on my Instagram to get some ideas of activities that we could do outside in the garden and I was really pleased that so many lovely people replied. It’s been great to have a list of activities to hand that we can do each day, and this is definitely helping me to fill up each day the best that I can.

Daisy seems to be enjoying all of the time that we are spending at home together. I am struggling a little bit with juggling some online work around Daisy but just reminding myself each day how lucky we are to have a safe, warm house to isolate in.

Hopefully this week goes by as fast as last week and then we are one more week closer to this all being over! Take care!

I pulled out our sidewalk chalk a couple of weeks ago and my daughter and I had some fun even though she is 14. It was something to do at home and so fun. Daisy looks so pleased with her creation. Nice work Daisy.

Aww that’s lovely that she still enjoys the simpler activities even at 14! I hope my girl is the same!

The weather is really making all the difference at least the kids can get outside. I have so many memories of my own childhood playing outside with chalk!

It makes such a difference when the weather is nice and they can get outside. I am struggling with the juggling act and trying to keep a 3 year old quiet while on conference calls! Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend and Thomas is staying safe x
