Hello! Happy Monday! I hope that the week ahead is a good one and the past week has gone by as smoothly as possible for everyone reading. We’ve got nothing new really going on here, just working on a few house jobs with items we already have in our outhouse. Thomas is still going out to work and so 3-4 days a week I’m just spending the time with Daisy. We are making the most of the time with baking, cooking, playing toys and relaxing together all high up the agenda! Anyway, Living Arrows 16/52 is now live!

I’m SO grateful that we have a garden. I’ve definitely said it before here, and I’ll probably continue to say it forever more! Moving from a 3rd floor flat, to a house with a garden, has been absolutely lovely. Our garden needs a lot of work, some we are making progress on at the moment, but Daisy doesn’t mind and just loves having outside space. As you can see Daisy even loves to visit the garden in her chocolate cereal milk-soaked PJs!
Each day we enjoy several visits to the garden, even in drearier weather. I’ve already got a new *lift-o-matic rotary line so most days I’m enjoying being able to hang washing out. Our first visit of the day usually involves me hanging up the washing and then Daisy asks me to push her on her swing. I really enjoy this time, as the surrounding gardens are often quiet to, and so I get to enjoy listening to the birds.
I feel really lucky with our gardens. We have lots of families living near us but so far the noise is just normal family noise. Children playing, BBQs, a little music etc, and I’ve adapted to this different environment fast, as has Daisy! She occasionally asks me what someone else is doing but I’ve just explained to her that when other people are enjoying their gardens we don’t shout to them! Daisy is 4 though so a little curiosity when hearing the noise of others is to be expected!
This week, like the last 5, is going to just be spent doing some house jobs, spending time together, working a little and just enjoying our home. I’m so grateful we moved 6 months before this Covid-19 drama, so our home is almost to the standard I want it to be! Have a great week.

I'm so pleased you have a garden right now. You'd be having such a different lockdown experience in your flat - Daisy always looks just so happy in the garden x
