Happy Monday! I hope that the week ahead is a good one for us all. I’m off for an operation tomorrow so spending the day today keeping busy with household chores and spending time with Thomas and Daisy. Last week was an exciting one for us – as we got a new car! I was also exhausted after traveling to Blog On in Manchester so I missed taking part in last weeks Living Arrows post. This weeks living arrows 19/52 post is now live!

Living Arrows 19/52 - Daisy and Daddy in the new car

Here you can see Daisy and Thomas having an explore of the new car. Daisy loves that she has her own door now, as we’ve gone from a 3 door to a 5 door. She was a little disappointed to learn that she still has to sit in her ‘baby seat’ but I explained she’s got YEARS longer of that! The car has lots of features that our old car didn’t have but Daisy was just excited to learn that it has music inside, like the old one. When we didn’t instantly turn on the stereo she started singing instead all the way home.

Last week was a bit of a mixed one but we’ve had lots of nice time together over the weekend. Daisy also loved trialling out the new hot tub at Grandma’s house and I’m looking forward to our next family holiday together now. The increase in hours at Nursery has gone really well and Daisy is loving all the time that she gets to spend with her friends and playing toys.

It sounds like Daisy is loving your new car, I bet she wanted to press all the buttons and pretend to drive too. I hope everything goes well with your op, keeping busy is the best way to distract yourself from worrying x
