This week has been a great one. I’m almost back to my full health now and Daisy has been feeling great too. We have had several good days playing, learning and more. I have been able to avoid working too much and the Mum guilt has stayed at bay in the past week. We have had lots of time to read new books, go on rides in the town and visit our allotment. It has been a lovely week all round. Finally! Hooray. Hopefully I will stay healthy now and we can enjoy lots of time together. Our Living Arrows 19/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 19/52 - Daisy playing on Thomas the Tank Engine in town

Daisy had great fun on Thomas the Tank Engine. She was so happy and I captured a lovely video of her beaming with joy as she realised she was ‘driving’. It was so lovely! I’m so happy we made a point of visiting the little toys so that she could try them all.

I am so relieved to be getting back to normal now. Our home is tidy and I have almost caught up on work from our holiday two weeks ago. We have lots of planting to do at our allotment and hopefully we can visit there a couple of times this week.

Living Arrows 19/52 - Daisy playing with a bottle lid

Daisy and I were laying in bed together after she had a nap. We were just mucking around together and relaxing. It was so much fun. She is filthy looking as she had enjoyed a cheesecake for lunch and then fell asleep before I could change her!

Glad you’re pretty much better. You can’t keep children off Thomas the Tank Engine. N’s 6 and would still probably leap on given the chance. #livingarrows

I am so glad you’re feeling better – and those ride ons are like glue for children – they just can’ help but be drawn to them! x

They really are. Already Daisy can gesture towards one (with a point) and make it clear that she is excited.
