Good morning! Happy Monday! I hope the week ahead is a great one for us all. This week we are having a LOT of jobs done around our house, hopefully! We are having our broken fencing replaced (we are paying for this) and then the council are fixing the stairs (hopefully!) and a blown window in our bedroom. I’m really looking forward to having a couple of jobs crossed off the list – as then we can find get the hall landing and stairs carpet fitted! Also, Daisy has a milk trial in hospital this week, which feels pretty daunting. I’m trying to put it to the back of my mind for the next 2 days but I can’t go with her sadly, as I’ve got to be home for the council workers to come in. Anyway, Living Arrows 2/52 is live – how are we already halfway through the month almost?!
Daisy loves a cheeky McDonalds, and we love that they are able to cater to her FPIES allergies. I have a post about parents debating ‘would you take your child to McDonalds?’ I personally feel it’s a great little treat for little ones. Daisy loves being able to have a bunless happy meal and get herself a little toy too.
I’m really looking forward to this week, and dreading it, in equal measure. On Wednesday Daisy will be visiting a London hospital with Thomas and she will be trialling milk. I’ve been explaining it all to her in advance but just knowing that she’s going to have a cannula ready, for any potential reactions, makes me feel so sad. This may be the first time Daisy has an FPIES reaction and is old enough to truly understand. Or she may have outgrown her dairy allergy and that would be absolutely amazing!
