Good morning. Another week has passed by. Mixed feelings all round here, as always. We’ve been able to have some garden work done, which is nice, and are looking forward to a quiet week just enjoying time together really. Living Arrows 20/52 – Another week safe at home!

Daisy dressed herself, as you can possibly tell!

The last week has gone quite well. We have just enjoyed each others company. Work, baking cheese scones, family time and enjoying the garden have been our ordinary things we’ve done in the last week. We’re finding a new normal and I’m trying to take a slightly slower pace with things.

Daisy has been loving the garden, as normal, and I feel so so grateful for our outside space. We haven’t been out for a single walk, which really is because we have a garden to use. I really feel for people who are managing in flats, or even in room shares.

Daisy is growing so tall that this week I’m going to be moving her into the 4-5 age clothes now, finally! I’ve got her some nice bundles from eBay to save a little money & then made a big George order too for items that I wouldn’t want to buy second hand; socks and underwear mostly.

For the week ahead I am just going to concentrate on working the best I can around Daisy, baking with her, having some fun with new activities and maybe indulge in a new toy or two for her. I know lots of people are working on large home school work, and having lots of structure to the day, but this just doesn’t work so well for us. Each day I am having some structure to our day, but keeping it loose. I think everyone needs to do what works for them during this time. I hope that the week ahead is good for you!

All the children seem to have grown so much this lock down! We haven't been anywhere either - I'm very grateful for our garden too!

Totally agree on the home school thing, we have reasonably structured morning but the afternoons are anyones guess. It is so difficult juggling with both of us working full time and on conference calls for most of the day. If we were too structured it would stress us out even more!

It's hard going isn't it - hopefully things will get easier soon.
