AD. Happy Monday! I love a fresh week. It is a great opportunity to start the week off on a good footing and be productive. I always start my week with a big to-do list, and lots of plans for the week ahead to give us things to look forward to until Thomas’ next days off. This week is going to be a busy one, as we’re preparing for another holiday. This weeks Living Arrows post, Living Arrows 22/53, is now live – hope you enjoy it!

Daisy playing with her Gobble Gobble Guppies toy

Yesterday we spent the day at Grandma’s house. We visited my in-laws in the morning, Daisy’s Nanny & Grandad and two of her Aunties, plus Daisy got to play with a couple of her cousins. It was an absolutely lovely day and Daisy was thrilled to have a new toy to enjoy in the paddling pool.

Living Arrows 22/53 - Gobble Gobble Guppies

Daisy is playing with the Swimways Gobble Guppies, *available from Amazon. These are a fantastic toy, ideal for toddlers and pre-schoolers. You get four floating guppies, numbered 1-4, and a large shark toy too. Each of the floating guppies are a different colour; purple, green, orange and red.

To play with this toy Daisy holds the shark and then squeezes the trigger to make it open its mouth. Then the shark can gobble up the guppies, which float on the surface of the water.

This pool toy is great fun. Daisy loved playing with it and she enjoys telling me the colours of the fish and reading out the numbers to me. I love encouraging Daisy to be active and water play is a great way to do this. Daisy loves running in and out of the pool and splashing around using her shark to Gobble up the Guppies.

I think this is a fantastic toy for little ones, and slightly older ones too. Daisy has had bags of fun playing with this toy – so much that we’re hoping to go to Grandma’s house again today and get the paddling pool out again!

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows.

I love toys like this, where it seems like you can play with them in several different ways and children learn while they’re having fun! x #LivingArrows

It’s so lovely watching the playing in paddling pools isn’t it. Isla has had hers out this weekend…which has resulted in Mama and Daddy getting slightly wet too! #LivingArrows

You are right – your little girl is adorable. Water play is the best and I can see grown-ups having fun with this toy too.
