Living Arrows 25/52

What a glorious week it has been! The weather has been lovely and Daisy has been mostly in a great mood too. On Friday my husband had an operation so this meant that I was busy over the weekend caring for him. This didn’t stop us getting out and having a lovely weekend though. Even if my husband has to rest up for 2 more weeks. This weather is just too nice to ignore and we’ve had a wonderful week together. I love sharing these weekly posts with you and my Living Arrows 25/52 post is now live.

Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said that you can find here. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 25/52 - Daisy and Grandma having fun together

Daisy had a wonderful time yesterday visiting lots of our family. First we went to our allotment, then we visited my Mum and Daisy played in the paddling pool. She had great fun. Then we went to my in-laws where we had a BBQ and it was a real family affair. It was a lovely day!

Living Arrows 25/52 - Daisy enjoying her first ever ice cream cone!

Sooooo…. Daisy got to try an ice cream cone for the first time EVER! I’ve made her some dairy free fruit lollies before but this was real ice cream. Almost. Daisy was so happy to have an ice cream cone and there was NO wastage.

Why does everything have to have soya in though? Or dairy? Seriously?! I struggle to find so many items for Daisy, such as these ice cream cones. Never the less we found some and she enjoyed it. Which is all that matters right?!

We’ve had a fantastic week. I love taking part in this linky as I write it up the night before, usually, and then I can get all excited for another great week ahead. This week we will be letting my husband recuperate, getting down the allotment lots and sweating in this heat! Hope you’ve enjoyed this Living Arrows 25/52 post – have a GREAT week!

It’s so nice to spend some time in the garden, especially with such a weather! I hope your husband has a quick recovery #LivingArrows

He is doing well, thank you. She’s definitely got my hair. Grows fast, goes curly when shorter and holds on to water so much!!

It’s so hot isn’t it. Ice creams are essential in this weather. #livingarrows

It must be so frustrating Katy trying to find suitable products for her but she does look like she’s enjoying her cone. I bet she had loads of fun in the paddling pool, that’s what we did yesterday too. Hope Tom recovers quickly x

Yeah it can be frustrating when I get excited and then near the end of the ingredients I see something that isn’t suitable. RAGING haha. She had a lovely time and she doesn’t really miss out on much so it isn’t that bad 🙂 Thank you, Tom is doing well.

I cannot imagine having to work around a dairy-free diet with the children/ It must be such hard work – but so exciting when you find something new she can eat! x

Yes that sums it up perfectly! She is so excited to try new foods and fortunately she loves fruits & vegetables so that helps.
