We were gifted the nail products featured within this post in exchange for coverage. Soft play. Groan. That’s usually how it goes – right?! Well, not this time! Last week, on Tuesday, we took Daisy off to soft play – and it was the ultimate dream. It was quiet. It was clean. There was no loose food on the floor. There were only 2 other children playing in there too and they weren’t interested in the areas that Daisy was old enough to play in. Win, win! We had a great time and as always I want to share a post with you! This weeks Living Arrows post is live, Living Arrows 26/53 – WHERE IS THE YEAR GOING?!

Living Arrows 26/53

The three of us had so much fun at soft play, and I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was too. For £6.25 Daisy was able to eat a meal (they had suitable sausages, chips AND beans which is a big result with all her allergies) and she got entry to the soft play too. I felt the price was really reasonable, as the soft play alone would have been £4 or £4.25. I’m happy to pay a little more for good quality time together but if something is this cheap I won’t say no! The food was from the Freefrom range in Sainsburys and the staff cooked it separately to make sure there was no contamination – which was fantastic.

It was so much fun running around after Daisy. I made a conscious effort to wear clothes I was comfortable running in and we went around the soft play area together – it was so fun! I was sweating my backside off but Daisy was so happy to have me there running around and playing with her. Also, when I was exhausted, Thomas went inside the soft play with her and she loved that too! It was the perfect cheap family day out and Daisy was exhausted that night. This helped us finally get her sleep pattern back on track.

This week Daisy is going to be spending a day with my in-laws, and her cousin too, and they’re going to LOVE playing with these great items from Gel-a-Peel and Nail-a-Peel:

Living Arrows 26/53 - Gel-A-Peel

Daisy’s cousin is 8, so she is the perfect age for activities like this. I know Daisy will have a great time watching her cousin, and also playing with this herself too I’m sure! (With supervision).

The *Gel-A-Peel Deluxe Kit contains everything needed to make 100 plus beginner bracelets or accessories. There are 5 colourful tubes inside, lots of templates (24!) and much more. I’m sure Daisy and her cousin are going to have a fantastic time with this kit!

Living Arrows 26/53 - Nail-A-Peel

The *Nail-A-Peel Rock Out Kit looks like great fun. It allows little ones to paint their nails and create 3D designs too. As my niece is really creative I know that she is going to love it and Daisy will enjoy having her nails done too!

Also, Daisy has been LOVING the L.O.L Surprise Confetti Pop toy that she received recently – you can see her opening it now:

I always used to find soft play really good exercise! My kids were never the type to let me sit with a coffee while they played – I had to get right up there on the slides (even with a 38 week bump!) Great that play centres are now thinking more about the quality of food that they serve. Have a good week!

I’m not a fan of soft play these days because we can only go at weekends or holidays when it’s always mega busy. It sounds like you had a great time too, and how fab that they had food suitable for Daisy. #LivingArrows

I’ll definitely skip the soft play once Daisy is in school!

It was so much fun! A second or two later she hit me with a ball – very cheeky!

Sounds like a very successful trip to the softplay. To be honest we try to avoid them but if you could guarantee quiet I would be more tempted. Good news on the food too! X

It’s so nice to sit and have a coffee (or tea for you!) while they play isn’t it!
