Happy Monday – I hope you’ve had a great first week of the Summer holidays. I’m really aware that this is the last summer that Daisy will be in childcare – eek. How has this come around so fast? I’m sure before I know it we’ll be getting ready for her to go off to school! This weeks living arrows 30/52 post is now live!

Living Arrows 30/52

I know this isn’t the best photo, but Daisy was about to go out of the door last night, to her Grandma’s house, and I realised that I didn’t have ANY photos from this week that I could use in this post. The weather has been SO hot and we’ve been spending lots of time in our PJs, keeping cool playing with water lots.

The week was good. Daisy and I had the whole weekend together too. We made the most of it with lots of water play indoors, enjoying new toys and a little time on the tablet too. I didn’t work and it was just fantastic to spend lots of time together and escape from the heat of the past week. We have a whole weekend together next week too, except Thomas is home from work as well. I’m definitely going to plan more indoor activities, as the kept Daisy happy and was great fun! Daisy loved when I froze a couple of her favourite toys in a big block of ice, also, just water play, in general, was great fun.  Another activity that Daisy is loving lately is printing off colouring pages from the internet and using her Casdon wooden easel and Paint Sticks Art Station.

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows 30/52 post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows in 2017. You can also look back at the same week last year, Living Arrows 30/53 – if you fancy a look at how much Daisy has changed in the past year!

Sometimes staying in and playing together are the best times. I’m glad you and Daisy had a lovely weekend.

You are so good at keeping Daisy entertained at home – it’s not easy to think of activities, I think you do a great job. I can’t believe she’ll be heading off to school pretty soon! x

Ahh thanks so much! I find Pinterest and other parents online a real inspiration! I know – only one year to go, where does the time go?!

Kipper starts school at the same time and I am trying to put the brakes on!! Ice play is a great idea in this heat! Sounds like a great weekend where you can switch off. I really need to do that more x

It is a great way to keep little ones occupied for 15-20 minutes and best of all it is free!
