Happy Monday – I hope you had a lovely weekend! We sure did! Thomas was home from work this weekend and we really all had a chance to recharge our batteries. All in all, it has been a lovely week. Daisy had her pre-school booster injections and handled them so well. No tears or sadness, no anger & best of it she didn’t suffer any negative side effects, which I was so relieved about with her having FPIES. This weeks living arrows 31/52 post is now live!

Daisy enjoyed a nap in the daytime, which rarely happens anymore. It was so lovely to get half hours peace, although she did wake up quite upset afterwards as her injections were coming up. Daisy was definitely feeling anxious beforehand, but I explained that the pain would be momentary and she would be feeling fine afterwards. Also, I briefly explained the importance of vaccinations to her too.

This week has been a fantastic one. I have felt well, and like the work/life balance has been fantastic. I am about to have a few weeks of more relaxing, as Summer is here, and I want to spend lots of time with Daisy and Tom enjoying the nice weather. This week we are going to take a trip to the beach, which I can’t wait for, and I’m looking forward to not working much and just playing games and relaxing. It’s a shame we don’t have a garden this Summer but I know our time will come very soon!

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows 31/52 post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows in 2017. You can also look back at the same week last year, Living Arrows 31/53 – if you fancy a look at how much Daisy has changed in the past year!

It sounds like Daisy handled her injections like a pro – both mine screamed for ages afterwards!
