I can’t believe it… This week is Daisy’s last week at Nursery EVER! 3+ years of Nursery done. Where has the time gone? I know all parents go through the same thought processes as their child ‘levels up’ in life but I just can’t believe it. Daisy has changed so much in those 3 years. Outgrowing lots of her FPIES allergies, and generally just changing so much, all in positive ways.

How is this the norm for visiting the shops for some sweets now? We were actually really happy behind the masks but I wanted to show Daisy how sometimes people can look a bit sad in masks, but really they are probably kind, and smiling, and not to be scared. She’s happy to have a matching mask with me, and I’m glad we can pop to the shops together now if we need to.

As Daisy finishes Nursery at the end of this week it means we’re going to have 4.5 weeks together before she starts school. I’ve got some activities planned, and we’re going to visit some family too. It will be nice! I’m looking forward to powering down from work a little too, as I’ve been putting in a lot of hours since Daisy returned to Nursery a few weeks ago. Usually by this time of the year we’ve had 1-2 holidays, so it’s a bit of a change that we’ve been home the whole time!

I’m looking forward to Daisy starting school, as I know she’ll really thrive, and also getting out daily for a walk to/from school is going to be great for me mentally too. I’ve been increasing my exercise over the last few months, so that I’m ready for the extra walking. Having several chronic illnesses means that sometimes I have high pain days and I’m learning to power through a little, so that I can ensure Daisy gets to school each day if Thomas is at work.

This week I’m going to be working hard and then when Daisy breaks up on Friday we’re going to have a celebration family tea, just us three. I’m so excited for the week to be done already! Have a good week whatever you’re doing.

That's a good thing to teach your children about masks. It does make me a bit sad that it's the norm at the moment though. Hope she enjoys her last days of nursery, she going to love school!

That's a good idea about the masks - I haven't really explained too much about them to my two as they haven't really seemed fazed but maybe I'll mention that! :) #livingarrows

Aww! What an exciting time for Daisy to be finishing nursery, I imagine pretty sad too with it being the end of an era. I love the matching masks. How cute x
