Living Arrows 34/53 – A day with Grandma

Happy Monday! I’m sad for Monday this week because Thomas is going back to work after a week off. We’ve had a lovely week together. A few days Daisy was out, at Nursery, and one of the days she went over to my Mum’s house, her Grandma’s house, for the day. This meant that I had an entire day to work and catch up on sleep, as Daisy is favouring the night-time hours at the moment! Anyway, Monday has arrived, and this weeks Living Arrows post, Living Arrows 34/53, is now live. Also, sorry for my absence the last two weeks! I had a virus, which kicked me into touch a little! I’m finally getting back on track with work now though.

Living Arrows 34/53 - Daisy at Grandma's house

This is a photograph of Daisy over at Grandma’s house. She had only been there about 45 minutes and already she’d started eating – spot the apple on the table!

I’m so glad that Daisy is close to all 3 of her Grandparents. It is really nice to see her forming a bond with people that we love, and wrapping them around her little finger sometimes too! I know that Daisy kept on and on, all morning, to Grandma that she wanted her lunch. This was because she had seen me packing her Yumbox of treats the night before and couldn’t wait to get started! I’m actually loving the Yumbox, and this is the one that I bought for Daisy:

Daisy is loving having lots of variety, and it has definitely made me increase the amount of food that I am offering to Daisy. In variety terms at least!

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows. Also, you can look back on this same week last year, Living Arrows 34/52, – if you fancy a look at how much Daisy has changed!

I’ve always loved the idea of Yumboxes…but I think my husband would go mental at me if I bought Isla a lunch box for £25! I so want one though!!!

If I want something I buy it. I earn my own money and I definitely don’t need permission from anyone, let alone my husband. Daisy eats so well from the Yumbox that it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever bought her.

Whenever you write about Daisy and her grandparents you can tell what a great relationship they have x

Oh no about the nighttime hours! Hope its only temporary for you all. We have a very similar lunchbox and love it. I think having the different compartments works really well as its like they have their own choice as such… Ours are close to their grandparents too, I think its so important xx

We have the yum box for both of mine. They are fussy eaters but like the idea of a little bit of different things and the yum box suits us. Yes its a little pricey but the fact the eat the lunch with no issues makes it worth it for me. #livingarrows

I love that if Daisy doesn’t eat it all I can just seal it up and pop it back in the fridge too! So handy!

It’s lovely that Daisy enjoys spending time with her grandparents – Toby and Gabe love theirs too – we need to get them on babysitting a lot more I think! #LivingArrows

Ooh definitely. I think a lot of times we have to ask, as people don’t want to look like they are trying to take away our family time.

We were introduced to the YumBox a few years ago now. We love ours too! #LivingArrows

I’m loving it – such a good way to get variety into Daisy! x
