We were gifted tickets in exchange for coverage. Happy Bank Holiday Monday! Hope you’ve had a lovely relaxing weekend with your family. This weeks Living Arrows post, Living Arrows 35/53, is now live. I’m talking about how Daisy and Thomas have been to Drayton Manor for the day!
Daddy and Daisy as they arrive at Drayton Manor. Daisy is a HUGE fan of Thomas The Tank Engine so she was really excited to get into Thomas Land!
Thomas and Daisy mostly stuck to Thomas Land, as they hit a patch of traffic on the drive up, which ate into their time in the park. When Thomas arrived there was lots of parking, and it is well signed for finding your car again at the end of the day.
Thomas Land alone would have been worth the ticket price as Daisy had so much fun just in this one area. However, if you have older children you can explore the entire park and easily spend a full day here going on 10s of rides. As Thomas and Daisy visited during the Summer Holidays some of the queues were up to 15-20 minutes, but the rides made it worth the queue time for sure.
Daisy had great fun on the rides, and there were lots that were suitable for her height and age. In particular, Daisy loved riding on the Rocking Bulstrode and wanted to go on this multiple times as she found it so much fun!
To make this a reasonably priced family day out Thomas and Daisy took their own packed lunch along. Daisy used her new Petit Fernand lunchbox. However, Thomas and Daisy did also enjoy a nice cold drink and a snack while resting on site. The provisions available were good, although with Daisy having FPIES it is always hard to find lots for her to eat.
This was Daisy’s second visit to a park with rides and she has been talking about it almost constantly for the past 3 days. Daisy had a wonderful time at Drayton Manor, even though she mostly stuck to Thomas Land, and we look forward to visiting again as a family next year! Hopefully next time we’ll stay in a hotel and make a two day trip of it!
