Living Arrows 49/53 – a bedtime story

Happy Monday! I hope the week ahead is a good one. I’m looking forward to lots of family time, staying on top of my schedule with work and feeling motivated. It has been a good fortnight for getting work done and organising my home, ready for Christmas! I’m so excited this year as Daisy is really taking a big interest in everything! I can’t wait to see her face on Christmas Day when we open toys and spend most of the day playing together. I’m really working hard at the moment to make sure I can have a break over Christmas and the New Year. This weeks Living Arrows 49/53 post is now live, I hope you enjoy it.

Living Arrows 49/53

Tom snapped this photo early in the week last week and I didn’t see it until Thursday. I’ve got a wine close to hand and we are enjoying a bedtime story together. Daisy has really settled back into her bedtime routine lately and is loving stories now more than ever.

I love being able to be home for almost all of Daisy’s bedtimes. I’m really privileged, and I know it. Thomas does the bedtime routine mostly when he is home which means I usually have a few days a week I am doing it alone. On this day Thomas was about to head out the door to work (I think) but snapped this first. It was really lovely and I didn’t even realise he was taking a photograph! It’s so nice to have these moments to look back on and I really do cherish our time together, mostly!

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows 49/53 post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows. Also, you can look back on this same week last year, Living Arrows 49/52, – if you fancy a look at how much Daisy has changed!

This is a lovely photo - we love bedtime stories in our house too, although Daddy tends to do most of the reading at the moment :) #LivingArrows

Thanks so much! My husband does a lot of the bedtime routines too, which is probably why he took a photo as he had nothing to do x

Aww this is lovely, Kipper is just getting into books too and I forgot how much I like to do bedtime stories... Monkey does his own now! Hope you had a productive week, I have so much still to do before the big day. When will I learn to say no!

Such a lovely photo of you both enjoying some down time before bed. The photos you aren't aware are being taken are often the best.
