AD. What a week! It went by so fast and yet so slow at the same time. Daisy and I are suffering from a cold at the moment, as it is that time of year. I’ve gone deaf in one ear, not fun, but according to the Doctor, they can’t see anything wrong… How helpful! Anyway, we’ve had our usual routine for most of the past week – until Sunday! On Sunday we had a lovely amount of snow, which is thankfully clearing away now. Daisy, Daddy and I had great fun together playing in the snow! This week’s Living Arrows 50/52 post is now live.

As you can see Daisy is loving being out in the snow, although her outfit is miles too big! We are at that stage where 18-24 month clothing is too small but 2-3 year clothing is HUGE! Oh well, nothing wrong with a bit of money saving and she’ll grow into it I’m sure!

Living Arrows is a linky from the lovely Donna from What The Redhead Said. Parents are invited to link up weekly and share photos of their children from the previous week. I love taking part and I’m looking forward to looking back at the end of the year.

Living Arrows 50/52 – 2017

Last week was a great one. Thomas had another week of not working overtime which was lovely for our family. We did some shopping, went about our usual routine and we had great fun on our Snow Day. Despite being under the weather I’ve managed to keep up with life and have a little break from working, which has been much needed.

We are looking forward to having lots of days together this week, although Daisy has nursery twice and is seeing both sets of grandparents for a day. This is a great opportunity for Thomas and me to spend time together, get the Christmas food shop started and wrap our presents to one another. I’m really excited this year and if we can find somewhere to hide it we are planning on building her kitchen for Christmas too!

I really wish that we got more snow in the UK. Quite a few years ago now, maybe 2006-2007 time, I spent some time in a ski resort in Europe. It has really got me thinking about ski schools and how I would love to be back on the snow for real one day soon! Daisy has absolutely loved the snow that we have had in the last few months but there is never enough of it for a real adventure! I’d love to be able to take her skiing one day and have ski lessons as a family.

For now, I will keep dreaming and just hope that the weather either brings more snow or brightens up soon. It has been BITTER here recently and I’m thoroughly fed up with Winter now – even if it is usually my favourite season!

Hope the week is kind to you!

How adorable does she look in that snow suit ! I bet she had lots of fun in the snow. We’ve hardly had any snow much to the kids disappointment. I hope you are all feeling better soon and have a lovely week x
