Merry Christmas! I hope you and your family have had a wonderful festive period. We’ve lots of time together and at the time of writing this Thomas has been enjoying a few well deserved days off work too. It’s been a bit of a weird Christmas this year, knowing that we are almost finished living in our first home together. Also, Thomas had to go to work on a night shift on Christmas Day which wasn’t ideal. But what can you do?! Anyway, Christmas was really kind to us all and today I’m wanting to share a few photos with you! I can’t believe that another year of Living Arrows is over and this is my Living Arrows 53/53 post!

Living Arrows 53/53 - Daisy leaving treats for Santa

On Christmas Eve Thomas had already gone to work so Daisy and I left out the treats for Santa. We didn’t get to use the special plate my sister got Daisy when she was born because unfortunately, I couldn’t reach it in the cupboard! Nevermind – there will always be next year won’t there! Anyway, Daisy chose a homemade mince pie, carrots for the reindeer and a glass of orange juice, as milk is poison for Daisy!

Living Arrows 53/53 - Daisy playing with Grandma and her blocks

On Christmas Day Grandma came over in the afternoon and stayed for the night. Daisy loved being able to play blocks with Grandma, even if she did get a little scared that the blocks were going to collapse. Which they did of course! It was a great lot of family time and we got to see lots of our family over Christmas time. Daisy received an array of lovely presents and as requested most people didn’t get us a present, which I was really happy with! We didn’t have anything we needed or wanted as such but Thomas and I did exchange gifts together. I felt happy knowing that family weren’t having to work hard to get the two of us a present and that I was perhaps helping to relieve some of the burdens on my loved ones at this time of year.

If you enjoyed this Living Arrows 53/53 post you may enjoy looking back at our first full year of Living Arrows. Also, you can look back on this previous week from 2017, Living Arrows 52/52, – if you fancy a look at how much Daisy has changed!

Thats a tall tower! I am glad you had such a lovely time. I am with you on the gifts, we focused very much on experiences for the adults some of which cost nothing. I hope you had a lovely New Year too – Happy 2019 and look forward to seeing how Daisy grows over the next 52 weeks x

She is on the 91st centile for height I think! Definitely going to be tall like her Dad! Happy New Year x

She’s going through a little bit of a demanding phase at the moment too!
