Having an organised life has become really important to my family in recent months. With me working on building up my online business and illness in our family we’ve got lots going on. By meal planning we are able to cut down on takeaways, eat healthier meals and take advantage of special offers at the supermarket to save money. Being able to look at a meal plan, and choose what we are going to eat, takes some of the stress away from our day. Today I’m sharing the Meal Planning Linky Week #12.
Life can be stressful at times. Having a meal plan to hand just removes some of the effort and time wasted thinking about what to make for dinner and looking for ingredients. By meal planning, before I go shopping I’m able to make a list of the ingredients that we require and ensure we have everything to hand to make dinner every night.
By holding myself accountable, with a meal plan, I am making healthier choices for us. We are cutting out on the takeaways, preparing food from scratch and saving ourselves money too. I have switched from shopping at Tesco to shopping at Aldi and this has helped our grocery budget too.

The Meal Planning Linky Week #12
I will be planning 5 meals per week. This leaves 2 days each week for finishing up leftovers, dining out or visiting family for dinner. We don’t have set days for our meals, as I prefer to decide in the morning which of the meals we want and what fits in with our plans.
My meals for the Meal Planning Linky Week #12 are:
Pork tenderloin, vegetables + rice
Air fryer frozen salmon & couscous
Slow cooker whole chicken with homemade stuffing and air fryer roast potatoes
My triple slow cooker is really helpful when I want to make us a slow cooker dinner. I’m able to make us the main dish, a side dish and cook a separate meal for Daisy too. All of this week’s dinners are Daisy friendly so I won’t have to do ANY extra cooking for her. This is a great week for me
If you’re looking for meal planning inspiration then be sure to read my meal planning tips and my meal planning with mince post. I’ve also got a post about making a roast chicken go further.

I love the sound of the pasta bake, and bonus not having to make separate meals for Daisy :) We're having a super frugal week this week, not easy with two hollow legged teens. Making a roast chook do 3 meals will help though.

Your meals this week sound delicious! I've just checked out your homemade stuffing recipe, I never thought to make this myself but will do in the future! Goodbye dried stuffing mix.

Been meal planning for a few weeks now. Mostly so I stick to my diet but cannot believe the difference it's made to out budget and waste as well.

I'm beginning to become a pro at this meal planning thing, thanks to you Katy. The stress is taken away when you know exactly what you are going to have each day because it's already been planned and shopped for. This week we have a big grin regarding meal planning as we cleaned out the freezer and found enough food for at least 2 weeks! Some are already prepared too! Thanks for letting us link up and learn from you.

Meal planning is literally a life-saver for me! I work incredibly long hours and sometimes the last thing I want to be doing to deciding what to cook at the last minute every evening. I tend to get organised every Sunday and plan the rest of the week ahead and find batch-cooking an absolute saviour.
