I’m a fan of money – isn’t everyone?! Anyway, over the last 4 years I have found a variety of different ways to make money online. For me diversity is key. I like to know that if one of my revenue streams disappears that I will have lots more. Some people focus solely on passive income, which is great, but I’m someone who also enjoys working to make money. During the month of January I ran a moneymaking bootcamp over on The Money Shed. The Money Shed is a UK based forum that has a great community feel about it. Everyone there wants to make money and save money too. There is a great group of people that want to help one another, share websites, post some referral links and generally just help one another.
Why did I write the moneymaking bootcamp?
This year is the year that I want to help people more. I’m carrying out more random acts of kindness, donating to charity more and generally doing more for others. This is part of what prompted me to run a moneymaking bootcamp over on TMS. There are a number of posts that are designed specifically to help people to learn how they can make money online. Also, there are some great posts on saving money too. I’m sharing some of the tried and tested ways that I like to make and save money online. Some of the methods that I cover include saving money on your groceries, making £500+ a month matched betting and my favourite paid survey websites.
For me working from home means a number of things. It means I don’t have to worry about calling in sick to work. I’ve got a number of health problems and being able to work from home is a Godsend for me sometimes. Also, I can spend every single day with my daughter Daisy. When my husband and I decided to start a family we didn’t want to have to have our child at nursery every single day. I have nothing against other people that either have to or choose to use a nursery, however I wanted to enjoy the first year or two just us at home. My daughter will go to nursery eventually but for now we have lots of time together.
Now is a great time to join a moneymaking bootcamp
I think this time of year is a great time for giving yourself a financial overhaul. As well as earning more money you should be working on saving money too. Make your pounds work harder for you, get more for your money and stretch things a little further. If you can combine moneymaking AND moneysaving, using my moneymaking bootcamp, you can feel the difference in a huge way.
My life has really changed since I stopped being employed back in 2013. I enjoy being at home, having time to see my family, being able to visit our allotment whenever I like and just generally having a slightly slower pace of life. Now if we have a crisis in our family I can be there. If somebody goes into hospital I can help them, visit them, look after their home and just be a big support. When my Mum was taken ill at the start of 2016 I was able to help her with her finances. I could also visit her at the hospital and prepare her home for when she was discharged.
Whether you are looking to work from home full-time or just improve your income I hope that the moneymaking bootcamp I wrote over can help. I’ve covered a variety of different ways to make money. Some require just a short amount of time.
